I saw this awesome cheetah base from this lineart pack by and had to try it out for my hybrids!

Grows a small 'mane' and 'beard' as an adult but never as far as a true male lion

He is lithe and scrawny and not as fast as a real cheetah, this used to upset him a lot when he was young. He really wanted to be like mom.

His father Kion disappeared around the same time the hyenas did, most say he went to lead them to find a new safe home. Applin was born sickly and weak Fuli did not think he would live past the month and did not tell anyone letting herself sink back into the solitary life style of cheetahs. When the cub was much bigger and healthier he finely met the royal family. They were delighted to have a piece of Kion left and wanted Applin to stay with them. He tried for a time to live like a lion but as an adult, he prefers to be alone and independent. Hes often skinny to the point of starving as he can not hunt well and often scavenges dead things. He becomes much more a deep thinker and spiritual as he accepted that his parent's ways is not his path - he is far to weak for speed or fierceness but he can still help others in his own way.

Adhabu made an epic omen/ prophecy at her 'birth' that continues to haunt her/ follow her pawsteps

Very fast and slim, usualy can get away with being seen as a cheetah then a lioness.

Her mother Zahra was warned that she can keep the dark fate from happening if she teaches the cub compassion and to follow her own moral compass not of others. This lead to the cub being named Bikari or ‘compass’ to remind her always of that choice. Zahra feared she alone would not be able to be a good example for the cub alone and returned to the pridelands believing her growing up with them would impact Bikari much better. Despite the best of intentions it was not easy for the young hybrid to get along with other lions who thought she looked like a freak. Her older sister Mwezi even ignored her to not be shunned herself by the others. Bikari grew to resent her pretty sister, who seemed oh so perfect compared to her.
Growing up she befriended Kovu and Kiara's 2nd born son, Kumbuka who felt out of sorts as well compared to his brother. Mwezi even woos the price and was on her way to being queen. Bikari only stuck around for her wedding ceremony before leaving the pridelands. She could not bare to have her perfect sister her future queen as well.

Other fun facts; these two hate one another despite being the only other hybrids they have met so far. Bikari gets in her head she needs to find Kion to help ,Kumbuka get his 'roar' and guard ship from the great spirits. Because Kion left he took the power with him leaving the next would be guard nothing. Applin wanted her to stay out of it, and leave such things alone. When Kumbuka gets killed (or assumed dead anyway) on the way Applin is first to blame Bikari and her wild ideas for what happened to his cousin. He is the reason she never returned to the pridelands and found a new tribe. They might just be mortal rivals and enemies for further conflicts down the line. *shrugs*
