Description
I used a small flashlight as lighting source, and fast shutter speed... It doesn't look too dark on my screen, but let me know if it's still too dark...FULL-VIEW for details!

It just feals as a venician or flamish old oil painting the hairs touch as little brushes in the dark...

My cat hardly stays still long enough either.. he was just sleeping when I went to take this photo, had to wake him up for this.. evil, but he wouldn't stay still otherwise..
Thank you!

Thank you! ..I like photographing hair and fur, the little details.. I really don't like drawing them though, but that's probably because I'm really bad at it..

amazing; the texture is great, the darkness and fading to black is very sneaky. the cat looks alien, really, or otherwordly. i'm in awe of the sharpness you could manage, and of how dramatic you can make this cat look the light patches are good, as well. i hope you're entering this in the Onewordphoto "portrait" competition
although i don't think it fits the strict B&W category. bugger. GREAT SHOT!

Thanks a lot for the great comment!
I was actually going to enter the contest with this.. I had two versions, this and grayscale.. I had really hard time deciding, but I just liked this duotone version better, so... :/

whoa the darkness is so pretty. great detail on the fur and eye! i have a really bright LCD screen and it's pretty dark. which is good cause it shapes the contour of duncan's face. hehe

...yeah, it's meant to be dark, but I'm afraid it might look all black on someone's screen...
