So, here it is! I made that status update, asking if anyone remembered the Original Shapeshifter Canon™ that EoI sprang from, and alluded to cracking it open again as an AU...and I am. Originally called The Versipellis, I've ditched the clunky Latin title and gone for the simplicity of MARKED. In the original version, which I was working on back in 2013, Chey didn't exist and Aetos was uninvolved...I clearly changed that. Everyone's different in this, and it's being...really interesting to explore. I'm a little under 3k words into rewriting the "first chapter" (the only original writing I still have access to, and half of all the original actual writing I ever did) but I've really taken to my revisit to this world, and I've gotten a lot of general work done. I have most of a plot outline, and I have ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ɪɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ for anyone interested in the setting. I've started in on my character notes and a local map...yeah. This might end up going somewhere.
Tragically I deleted the original "cover" from back in 2013, but I do have Land Of 1,000 Kicks for some sense of comparison...ish.
When the first chapter is done, I think I'll post it, and link to the original writing as well: Progress is always cool to observe.
