I've been doing some writing lately about Kato and Athena and their dynamic during their teenage years--mostly focusing on their almost-relationship, but I'm also working on stuff relating to Athena's ED. None of the writing is done enough to be postable yet, but it's interesting for me--to finally be putting stuff down in writing after years of only just vaguely "knowing" it, only mentioning it in passing on their refs. The song above and the song "Rampage" (also by Nicole Dollanganger) give me really strong Athena/Kato vibes, though, so I listened to those on repeat and took the time to draw these two as they were back in 10th grade. That was when Athena fell deep into an eating disorder and risked her life, and when Kato took up smoking, attempted suicide a couple times--and started to formulate his plans to become a killer.

weak, but I'm so glad she got the help she needed <333 Kohao is always
going to be a badass (at least in a good way after Seth helped him ^v^)

Listened to Rampage, and dang you're right that's some strong Athena/Kohao vibes! These guys, I love them, and they need a hug with a blanket, some hot cocoa or coffee, and sit down with friends while watching stupid movies or youtube videos.

Aaaa I'm so excited to hear you gave it a listen! Nicole has quite a few songs that I associate with Kohao or with Kohao's relationships with others,,, she has such a unique lyrical style and I quite like a lot of her music! These two deffo had a rough couple years between 2010 and 2011, but they have a lot of friends now and even Kohao's on the upswing! (albeit a slow upswing)
