one of my d&d characters hjdbhd

his name is COLT FAIRHAVEN and hes an angsty rogue/archaeologist.. his dad is/was rly respected in the field (of archaeology...) and pushed him into it and colt resents the pressure and competition despite actually being a massive nerd who DOES enjoy the work,, he's studying paleoethnobotany by trade but has a secret passion for epigraphy

he feels like he has to show his dad up tho and resents the fact that he cant openly enjoy/fully enjoy his job bc that will make his father feel justified in the pressure/behavior

so he bottles himself up and also steals fossils sometimes
and he wears platform cowboy boots

last session he and the party travelled back in time but didnt realize they did at first and some guardsmen were like "MAGIC FOLK.. GET OUT OF HERE,, BEGONE FOES" and everyone decided they'd stumbled onto some LARPers so colt was like "we dont want to roleplay with you nerds, fuck off" and the guards didnt fuck off and stabbed him a little and then he stabbed them a LOT and got the Bloodlust™

> tfw ur a medieval guardsman and some BVB fan comes out of the woods, calls u a nerd, and stabs u in the gut

i didnt intend him to be bloodthirsty but he was the first one to Kill™ then a party member cast a sleep spell on another guard and i was like Colt Has To Kill The Sleeping Man
so colt stabbed the sleeping one and was like "no fucking witnesses" and then took a souvenir and now he's tryina fuck a beefy innkeeper he met who's way too good for him
