Hey GuysIt was pointed out that I never made a character poster for Daisy's Mega form, from chapter 13 so here it is.
I've found Mega Daisy has become surprisingly popular with people asking if she'll return.
Originally I was finished with her, and the lines at the end of episode 13 about Daisy still technically being a giant was more a metaphor to say Daisy has grown since the start of the series. But seeing how much people like this version of the character I am considering bringing her back in a future season, though like with Daisy/Mask I am not promising anything yet until I can come up with a good story or plot to feature her in again.
But what do you guys think? Should Mega Daisy return somehow or do you feel her time has come and gone?

I actually just discovered your series tonight because of the daisy episode, I saw it from browsing other M&L animations, and decided to watch, good stuff by the way.
I'd love to see more mega daisy, shes already my personal fav princess, and seeing her get to be the center of such situations, i was actually rather bummed to see her suddenly be a damsel in her own way due to her size causing such a problem. I understand why its was such, but I found it a tad disappointing.

Mega Daisy does seem to be a popular transformation for Daisy, though whether or not I'll be using it again is another matter. The Mega form does add a great unfair advantage when it comes to fights and if the fight is in her favour then there is no danger, no tension, hence no drama and little investment for the audience. But we'll see if the transformation ever becomes useful again.
I didn't really see her as a damsel in distress at the end, in the same way a female patient in the hospital isn't really a damsel in distress. Her body was just going wrong and she needed medical treatment she couldn't get herself. Also consider, despite her failing heart she was still able to pull herself back up and save Green Thunder/Luigi from the Axem Rangers by falling on Kamek, it was accidental sure but if Daisy hadn't been strong enough to pull herself back up not only would she have died, but Green Thunder would've been unmasked and Luigi likely killed by the Axem Rangers when the Mask came off.
But I'm glad you're enjoying the series and I hope you like season 03 when it is released.

I think part of the appeal is simply the lack of strong female characters in Nintendo's lineup. I heard that's why Agen 3 and 4 from Splatoon 1 and 2 are canonically female.
A lot of fans also think that Daisy is grossly underrepresented with a lack of any main titles to her credit, unlike Peach or even Luigi, even Wario has his own games. Even Peach had a game all to herself. I'm not saying Daisy necessarily needs her own game, but appearing in something other than a sports title or Mario Party game just to give more than one female character to play (until Rosalina came along) was pretty weak and other than her first game, she hasn't really had anything at all to call her own.
Anyways, I just found your videos today and really enjoyed them. I subbed the instant I saw a Freakazoid reference in your latest episode. Recognized a lot of other references too. I'll probably be rewatching all your episodes in the near future. Thanks for your hard work.

It was more Mega Daisy people are asking to return as Daisy is now a proper part of the series. It's this specific transformation as well as her Mask persona people are asking to make a return. A friend of mine recently told me he reckons its more a fetish thing I've stumbled upon with these two but *Shrugs* I'm not going to judge what people find appealing. Whenever I'll bring back either of these transformations depends on if and when they'll serve the story going forward.
But I agree, Daisy is far too under-represented. Peach is a little too much the stereotypical perfect princess. Daisy is kind of the imperfect princess. She's more a Tom-boy, more head strong and proactive which in my mind makes Daisy a superior character to Peach who seems a bit vanilla IMO. Seemingly perfect versions of characters usually are. Where as Daisy has a spiciness to her character if that makes sense. There is room for character development and therefore story. Which is why Peach is more the supporting role and Daisy I'm trying to make the series leading lady. Sadly because Daisy was not created by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto he shows her no attention in terms of games.

It could be funny if she becomes giant because of a Goomba in a castle ^^ Why not ; but if she has grown, then she'd be more mature about the Mask, unlike Luigi who's addicted and starts loosing control. Hum... I think she should come back. The episode 13 didn't just show us Masked Yoshi, Luigi's bravery and addiction, with jokes here and there about baloon Daisy or the Axem Rangers. The cuteness aside, she's cool, strong, interesting/promising in this form.
