A bio of my fan character from my sprite cartoon Mario and Luigi: The Mask. The 4 major forms Yoshi transforms into while wearing the Mask.

Bio

Yoshi/Mask
Yoshis' transformation into his Mask persona was explosive, violent and quick. Unlike other Mask personas Yoshi became animalistic, focused only on his need to feed, and his hunger became endless. During his time with the Mask he ravaged Toad Town and ripped it apart looking for food. Which were usually its inhabitants, the Toads.

Yoshi/Mask-Rex
Yoshis' Mask form also went through 3 forms during this time. Each becoming larger than the last. It is unknown if Yoshi caused these transformations himself or if they happened by chance. Yoshi/Mask-Rex is like the base form only cranked up to 11. Aggressive, destructive, powerful, hungry and now standing at 40 feet tall. With a total loss of perspective Yoshi began to hallucinate, believing he was in a mini candy land eating sweats, with his delusions mirroring what he was doing in reality.

Yoshi/MaskZilla
Yoshis' final form stands at a boggling 167 feet tall and has a duel personality to him. One docile, the other vicious, and each with a sepreate form to denote them, one cute, the other horrific. The docile form is the base form with the vicious form appearing if Yoshi/MaskZilla is sufficently aggrivated. Yoshi/MaskZilla was only defeated after Luigi managed to barely rip the Mask from his overly enlarged head. Afterwards Yoshi had little memory of what happened and assumed he'd slept through the whole ordeal. Not once realising his strange dream mirrored what a monster had done to Toad Town.

Inspiration
For Yoshis' Mask form I wanted to take a route similar to Milo's Mask persona and make Yoshi animalistic but not in a cooky cartoony way. The Mask turns Yoshi into a slobbering monster who's imagination strays little from where he wants to get his next meal.

I also wanted the transformation to go through 3 forms so the stakes would get higher and higher the longer Yoshi wore the Mask until it got to a point where Yoshi seemed too powerful for Luigi to get the Mask off him.

The hallucinations Yoshi has while in his second form were the idea of RockinAmber18, which I liked because it allowed Yoshi to maintain his innocence in his own head.

I'm not sure if Yoshi/Mask will ever return in the series but there is always potential. We never got to see the full extent of Yoshi/Mask-Zilla after all.
