Description Now I have a TARDIS purse as well as a Sherlock purse to satisfy my geek needs. Now, if only someone would design a Firefly fabric that I like as well as these.

That fabric is sheer adorableness! Thanks for linking to all of the material, I should get my girlfriend to look at this collector's fabric, that'd just be fantastic!

Sorry I've been out of touch lately, keeping pretty busy between Halloween and Etsy orders. Who knew it would take off like it has? I am totally hooked on Spoonflower right now, I probably ought to try designing fabric for them just to help alleviate the cost! I'm thinking about making some retro style half-aprons out of this fabric for my Etsy site.

That's the style I was testing. I think the style will work and you get the most bang with the least amount of buck. Those really full circle skirt, bibbed aprons are adorable, but at $20/yd this fabric would be too pricey for many people.

That's true...that can be a little pricey

The ones they have there don't do it for ya?

I'm guessing you are referring to the Firefly fabric? I tend to like larger repeat patterns with less organization. So, while a couple are good, they just don't scream "Buy Me!!" At $18/yd they have to scream or be needed for a specific craft project.

To each their own! Personally, I thought the "li'l folks" pattern was cute. Then again, I've done enough "Park"-style characters that it probably colors my opinion.

It is a cute design, and of all those available the one I am most likely to purchase. I just don't have a project in mind using it, and it doesn't appeal to me for a purse cover or apron etc... Those precise lines and spacing pull my eyes too much, it's a sensory thing that I can't really explain, other than odd numbers appeal to me more than even numbers. Did that even make sense?

Isn't that site great? I actually have a fat quarter of that TARDIS fabric but haven't decided what to make with it yet. I've also purchased #10's suit fabric and #11's shirt fabric for some craft projects I'm working on. I'm so bad.

Ya know.... You could make one half of the purse Who, and the other Sherlock, that way you would never have to choose

LOVE IT btw!
