Description
Rock is the leader of Neo Tokio-to's fastest rising gang of rudies, the MBs (Mega Busters). This quick thinking, quick acting, fly by the seat of your pants guy is always on the go and always ready for action. Whether it's spray painting grafitti across the city or dodging the Repliforce, you can count on Rock to tackle the situation head on without hesitation.Related content

And how could I forget Rock. I'd still love to see a rendition of JMR Colonel, if you ever get into the mood.
Say, curiousity... Have you seen that new game "Getting Up"? I never played JSR for myself but uh, the plot seems... the same? Graffiti artist versus corrupt politicians... input?

I've heard of it, though I can't say much more about it than that. I wouldn't say that they copied the idea, really. It just sort of seems like a lesser-used variation of the "rebels vs. empire" idea, really.
That said, Getting Up's "realistic" urban setting and style is greatly lacking compared to the slick, stylish, cel-shaded visuals of the Jet Set Radio games, IMO. For that reason alone I'm gonna say JSR > Getting Up.

Omg! *bounces* I saw thw protman one first and thought, 'wow, that looks alot like protoman, thats neat...' then I saw 'Rock' and 'Roll' and knew before I saw it! Granted, I've never been a fan of NT Warrior, and dont like the way he looks. He translates VERY well as a Rudie. I love it! All of them!

Pretty much. I tried doing everything based off of one series at first and found it was either too difficult or I just couldn't think of people to put into the appropriate roles in each series. By broadening my scope to taking inspiration from each one, the task became much easier. For example, I based Rock's design off of MegaMan.EXE's because it was easier to adapt to a JSR skate punk look than the design for X, Trigger, or the original Mega Man. Whereas with Blues, the design is more a combination of classic series Protoman and Chaud from the EXE series.
