Awesome work, I still need to learn this technique. Any tips where I can start?

Find some pitch and play around with some chisels! Saign Charlestien makes great tools and fantastic pitch(red), and so does my friend Debra (green pitch).
Saign- www.saignc.com/SC_Studios/SC_Sβ¦
Debra- www.chasers-pitch.com/
I've used both and can speak for their quality.
I would use saign's for precious metal work as I find it behaves better to the California heat, but the Green pitch works fantastic with steel as I like it to be a little warm anyways to make the steel move more quickly.

Thought I would give repousse and chasing a go , so spent about Β£200 on tools, pitch and cast iron bowlΒ and failed.Β My appreciation for your work is even greater now that I have tried it for myself.

Damn, that is impressive. Such detail, such dynamic. A true tribute to your skill.
The texturing on the demon's limbs, is that done with a great many strokes, or with something that has the same texture?

Nope, just a sharp round punch that I hammered in one at a time. It doesn't take as long as you'd think once you find a rhythm. Β Β Β
