Description
Within the depths of the seemingly endless woods, lies a city called "Evera". A city that's built around the trunk of one of the many gigantic trees that can only be found in the "deeper" parts of the forest. Due to the size of their enormous branches and leaves, these trees prevent most daylight from reaching the bottom, overcasting it with constant darkness.

Evera is the centre of all forest-related trading. Hunters, scavengers, fruit collectors, lumberjacks and beast tamers are all a common sight here. Almost every respected city-merchant has at least one or more connections with a federation in Evera.
This has the logical consequence that there are large groups of traders who travel from and to Evera.

I've finally finished this!
If you look at my scraps you can find a previous attempt of drawing this image!
This is a concept that's been in my head for years, but I constantly failed at representing it in a satisfying way.
I'm very pleased with how this one turned out. I've also added a familiar character to this scene, for some people who've been following my works for a few years or who've been exploring my gallery.

I hope some of you manage to recognize it!
