Prime.Inspired by that one commercial that had the blue truck that turned in optimus. The only Cg version of a transformer that has looked any good.

Good concept but like everyone else said, it looks so skinny and the body doesn't seem to have much mobility like the movie version does.

Technically it's sick and on point, but personality wise it's quite eerie looking, but that's just my childhood nostalgia warped mind talking.

I think Prime here needs to beef up a little.Some constructive criticism here, I'm not saying your interpretation's not great but I don't think his legs could support his upper body let alone carry a big gun. Too much Iron Giant-type.

i appreciate the crits! I know this design isn't for everyone. i've heard some pretty nasty things about it the cons actually. but i know what i wanted, and i had tried beefing him up when i was drawing him.
Its hard to say what metal on the transformers can and can't support weight though. for all i know his legs could support a building. i mean, its an alien substance right? and i know that his thighs are uber skinny, but i wanted them to be skinny, and they look to me like they could just slide into his bottom legs. that design was what i was going for.
this was kinda the opposite route of where all the comic designs have been going. Those designs tend to continually beef up all parts of the transformers and add and add.
I wanted to take it to the extreme. cheers man!
