Prime.Inspired by that one commercial that had the blue truck that turned in optimus. The only Cg version of a transformer that has looked any good.

As a picture this is the most pansy assed Prime I've ever seen.
In MOTION, however, he would be pure poetry, like a militarized 'Iron Giant'. I can clearly imagine him rolling around and crouching behind buildings before lighting off blaster fire, unlike the cumbersome Bay model.

Hey man, you don't have to be sorry you don't like something. Prime is one of those characters that people tend to have view of that they don't like to see changed. i prefer him this way to most others i have seen, so i wanted to get that out.

Not a problem. I saw a screen test they did for the truck that Optimus used to be and it looked pretty bad. This Prime looks better than their screen test. I think the legs are too skinny. That's what really threw it off for me.

yeah, basically i hated those transformers. not to get into a whole discussion., but they weren't transformers to me. the movie was okay if i pretend it was just about robots.
and to sum it up i will quote Bay's version of jazz the ghetto cruiser "Sup, little bitches."
but i have no problem with people who dig those versions, i just didn't like it myself.

i dont understand the hate, how much better could it have gotten? sure the jazz ghetto thing was dumb.. but it was very very minor.. the visuals could not be any better.. it was at the top level as far as movie effects are concerned.
ive watch the cartoon.. its just that a cartoon, its not deep, its not anything. what did u expect? shakespear? the transformation even influenced blizzard in making sc2!! whats there to hate! i dont get it! it drives me nutts.
i mean.. look at everything out there being butchered? i love street figther.. look what happen to that movie.. look at dragon ball.. and everything else hollywood producers think they can make better.. transformers was a god send compared to those. imagine if bay didn't do it? then what? it would be worst then crap.. and if it helps.. steven speilberg help directed it.. ok im not gonna go on any longer ive said my piece.. i hope i converted u a little...

like i said man, it's totally fine that you liked the movie.
To me, transformers is the 1986 movie. The designs, the voices, and personalities....the things that drive them, those are things that make up the characters for me. and minus Primes voice, this new movie didn't have any of that from what i could tell.
So, TO ME, it's not the transformers. and i didn't like the designs because it was presented as them. otherwise they are awesome transforming vehicles and things, i think that was cool.
and the movie was fun and well directed.
I would have preferred the movie to have not been made vs this version of transformers.
but like i said, i am really glad you dig it man. i am just stating my opinion, i am not trying to make you change yours. i am not gonna change mine.
