Awww.I've always wondered why Pinky and other 'idiot' characters like him are done up as such. A true character cannot be so simple in design as to be nothing but a zany idiot. Pinky deserves more than that, especially like most dumb characters of his type, he has a true heart of gold.
So here is Pinky when no one is watching, playing that deep, warm, yet sombre classical instument... the cello. Here's a more tender, eloquent, and emotional side of this mouse normally crippled under a character of sheer stupidity and zaniness we come to expect from toons. Sometimes a soul needs to breathe free of the mask it usually hides beind. Enjoy.

Hmmm... I wonder if they ever made that distinction clear in the stories. he does hve the same old buck teeth and dopey face as any other cliche 'big dumb' character.
I do kind of think it was a little unfair to subvert Pinky to this role, jsut as much as anyone else would find it ufair that Brain's intelect and drive is always thwarted at the end of each episode.
I figued, why not have a view of Pinky, where his 'stupidness/insanity' is in relaity a baggae over his real character and that he needs to be able to get out from ounder that one-sided role and let his spirit out. Inside he is misunderstood and really jsut wants to be loved.

Actually, Pinky has occasionally shown some intelligence. In fact, the creators of the show even admitted that sometimes he's even smarter than Brain.
