Description
Of all my characters, Spencer is probably the one with the least confidence.
A very nervous rat who is easily frightened, though, out of loyalty to his more courageous friends, he can also be surprisingly brave when he has to.

I love this character! His pose pretty much sums up his likeability! I love his expression too! It makes me smile seeing a drawing that makes me chuckle like this one! You did a great job with this picture Danbuster! Also, I love the color choices for this guy, and I especially love this little guy's personality! Even though this personality has been used before, I still like seeing this little timid but sweet rat! I really wonder what hijinks he'll get up to in the future? XD I hope to see more from this little rat fella soon Danbuster!

Now it's Spencer's turn to get the critique I'm sure he wouldn't mind standing around for. I'm trying to compose this little review here while I'm still conscious enough to write, alright? Here goes nothing!
Vision) Just like the previous pics with Dan and Frederick, I believe here Spencer is looking more and more like an actual rat then his previous incarnations. Not just the way his head looks but also how the overall construction of Spencer's body is when he's anthromorphicized (if that's the right word to use.)
Originality) Rats have been a staple of everyone's fantasies, be it a hero or a villain or anything in between, rats are very versatile species here and Spencer is no exception. I really could gravitate towards his timid appearance and how he's gripping his tail with nervousness. His squirmy mouth also indicates he is about to squeak his objections of carrying on with Frederick's plan here.
Technique) Just like the previous pics with Dan and Frederick, I think your attention to the details with Spencer and Frederick and Danbuster has improved significantly! Also, I'm tempted to say that your recent long play of "Ratatouille" also helped getting the right amount of rodent details here too, that alone raises the high points in this image here. Well done Dan!
Overall Impact) I'm giving this a solid 4 stars here. While the previous pics of the rest of the Dan Clan Trio is otherwise solid and fleshed out with each one's personalities, again a background could easily help out with this picture here, even a simple one would do. But overall, I always enjoyed seeing your characters and I look foreword to seeing more from you =3

Yup, all along with Spencer's character, I was wanting to make the "rough diamond" element clear!
He may look pretty shabby, but his heart's in the right place.
In fact, it's only his open blue eyes that are physically attractive about him, since eyes are the windows of one's soul.
