I drew this for my brother's birthday!
And I made NO background on PURPOSE this time!! Hahahaha! Because I wanted it put on a cake for my bro. This is Christopher (which also happens to be my bro's name) from Sonic X (the new Sonic anime based on Sonic Adventure continuity). He is holding Kitau (The tarutaru my brother plays on Final Fantasy XI) in his arms. Hope you enjoy this!

Cool!~ I don't see why the Sonic fandom like Christopher?! I mean, atleast he's there to help Sonic unlike Knuckles, Shadow, & some of the other lesser known characters of the series.

And when it comes to internet hatred, well sometimes it's arbitrary. But I think most times it's because Christopher was the "damsel in distress that doesn't make things better" kind of thing? Just like Daniel in the old 1986 Transformers movie. Many Transfans hate him for the same reason.

Yeah, I never really liked the old Transformers movies from the 80's but, then again I liked its storyline better because, it was a lot darker.Unlike in Michael Bays & Steven Spielberg's version the Autobots win @ the last minute. I don't know about you but I don't remember the human characters being all lovey-dovey?

There are 3 and a half game adaptions. Sonic Adventure from Eps 27-32, Sonic Adventure 2 from Eps 33-38, and Sonic Battle from Eps 45-46. The half is when Team Chaotix shows up in Ep 39, along with Cream's mother, Vanilla.

lol... yes, I know alot of people are not happy with the latest fad to have some kid involved in this cartoon or that cartoon (*cough* Transformers *cough*), but I rather like the kid. Christopher was a kind-hearted guy and very cute. He fit right in with Sonic and crew!

Well... I can understand why people don't like him. He is the quintessential "child character" that is put there in order to cater to the target audience demographic, namely 8-12 year old kids. It's the same reason Transformers fans tend to hate Daniel or Wheelie (Mind you, I don't hate them). Chris is cute and all, and I love him, but the fact of the matter is he was there for that reason, not because the plot needed him.
You also have people upset that it's a show about Sonic and Chris wound up being more of a focus. I used to joke with my brother that the show should have been called Christopher X.
I am sure, though, if the plot had more to do with Chris than the demographic did, he'd have wound up a loved character. Kind of like Sari in Transformers Animated. She actually had a very deep, plot-related reason for existing.
Anyway. Glad you like Chris like I do!

I see your point about Why people dont like Chris but I dont blam Chis for being a quintessential child I blam his parents they raised him that way his Father was to bus running his company his Mother was to busy with her Carrer they they complatly ignored him im just sayiung considering his mess up family and how he was raised he could have turn out alot worse and anyone who was raised like Chris was could have easly turn out to be just like Chris Thoerndyke was in the show like why do you think bullies at School are bullies are in the First place because how they were Raised of course.
anyway Christopher X would have made a catchey name for the show maybe they should make Show For Chris Thorndyke wouldn't that be cool if Chris had his own show.

Wasn't talking about who Chris is in the series. Was talking about his role. Kind of like how every cartoon has to have the token black, asian, white guy and crippled person. It's the fault of the writers, not the fictional parents. XD
