To show off both how much I suck at drawing backgrounds, how much I rule at drawing Sparkster and that I am a Rocket Knight Adventures fan who intends to draw another pic of Sparkster some day. This pic is a bit old. Late 2002. Enjoy!

Someone did make a comic of Sparkster. I think there was going to be an official one back when the game was new, but things didn't pan out. I forget. Either way, I know I've seen a Sparkster comic of some kind.

Sparkster's probably my favorite video game character of all time. He's cute, cool, and he's an opossum. I heart opossums. I like his face in this picture, really cute.

Thanks! And my sentiments exactly. SOOooo nice they finally gave him another sequel recently. I think it's for X-box live or something. But it's a downloadable sidescroller. It IS a sequel though, not a remake of the old games.

Of course I wish. Though it'd be a two-edged sword. They could make a bad game... and considering "Sparkster" was a mere shadow of how awesome "Rocket Knight Adventures" was, that wouldn't be surprising. Still... given the right company...

I think the Genesis version of the Rocket Knight games was vastly superior to the SNES version and sequel.
Very cool pic. I love his pose and he's a very awesome character who doesn't get credit he deserves.

The sequal wasn't all that great and I'm unsure why. Maybe it left the first one's feel too much? I dunno. But lemme double-check... there was only an SNES version for the sequal, right?

Nono, I knew that. I own the genesis version. What I meant was, you insinuated that the first game (Rocket Knight Adventures) was on more than one system. I thought that one was genesis only.

I wouldn't go that far. Retro Sonic rocked. Hard. I'd put it this way for my personal opinion: Sonic rocked. Sonic 2 rocked harder. Rocket Knight Adventures even more fun than Sonic 2. Sonic 3 either on par with or more fun than RKA depending on the day and phase of the moon, lol. But yeah... you can still find emulators of RKA...

I still play them on emulator but I still have my old consoles and some old games to and since I'm such a big fan of these games I just can't resist but buy the cartridges.
I still say sparkster is better cause when I was a kid I played far to much retro sonic, I even still know how to beat some of the old sonic games with out chaos emeralds in round 30 minutes (1 hour if I'm getting the emeralds) retro sonic is to easy for me these days.

Ah... well that explains it. Sonic was *too* good and you wound up overplaying it. Me, my older brother charged me 25 cents every time I played Sonic on *his* genesis, so I got tired of those prices real quick. Eventually, I got to play it and some of the levels frustrated me enough that I just won the game and said "There! Glad that's over!" But same with RKA or Sparkster... though I never won Sparkster (My bro did though).
I don't like Sparkster (The sequal) half as much as the first one (RKA). But I still wish they would make a 3D one. Even if the critics say it fails as bad as Sonic has been lately, I'd wanna play it.

No I haven't got all 7 golden swords in sparkster are you talking about the snes version? I've only completed the first RKA game on genesis and I do have all three of these games on emulator but I rarely play games on my PC I prefer playing these games on cartridge this is why I'm buying all three of these games online.
