Sketched this one up last year, but finally got around to turning it into a finished picture. Today, I painted the background. XD The part that I thought would challenge me most was the footprints in the sand. Thankfully, all I had to do was give the impression of footprints and it works for the pic as a whole.I hope you all enjoy.

Thanks! Hee hee... maybe Emerald can be part of that second trade we talked about. We could do a "fun in the sun" theme! XD Or just go with what Emerald tends to do: Archaeology, Magic, or Carburglary.

Heh thanks. It helps I had a number of reference pics for the beach, one of which was someone doing that sparkle effect. Though since I dunno how to do so as an effect, I hand-drew all the sparkles and such. XD

Emerald is one of my personal fave characters of mine. You can be sure I'll have more pics of her sooner than later. Don't currently have any in the works, but I do have several of her I wanted to do that I haven't started yet. Most of which involve short 1-page comics. XD
