Description
This is the first pic of Tassadar I ever drew. This was when I first got the idea of a human raised by the protoss. The big guy in the pic is my protoss fancharacter Kaisar, who is the dark templar that takes care of Tassadar. He, of course, named Tassadar after the protoss hero Tassadar who slew the Zerg Overmind.

The actual background on this character:
The weird idea I had concerning this human is that he is, in fact, a half-breed. A special psyonic crystal was examined and handled by the protoss. Kaisar happened to be the one who found it and took it. Having touched the crystal, Kaisar's essence was scanned, copied and recorded into the crystal's powers. But none of the protoss knew about this. Suddenly, the terrans invaded the small encampment of protoss. The protoss were forced to run for it and soon, the terrans discovered the protoss lab (as well as the crystal). A female terran took the crystal, which scanned, copied and recorded her essence like it did with Kaisar. Seconds after the terran femal touched the crystal, it re-shaped itself into a terran boy (my fancharacter Tassadar). Needless to say, the terrans wanted to study him further. But Tassadar, infused with the essence of both a terran female and a protoss male, had both human and protoss qualities. His protoss half allowed him to have a psychic bond with Kaisar, who soon realised he had family to rescue. When Kaisar assembled a strike force and rescued Tassadar, Tassadar pleaded to keep his "mother" safe. So Kaisar took the terran female prisoner and took Tassadar to Shakuras (The place where the dark templar dwell, I think). Over time, Tassadar began to discover he had the same dark templar powers his "father" had...

For those of you not familiar with Starcraft, go get the game and play it. It is fun.
