From a technical standpoint, it is very nice that you got a shot as good-looking as this one, given the lighting conditions involved. This is a testament to both your skill and your equipment.
More importantly, though, this photo captures a perfect slice of the moment and its essence. I feel that I can understand the tone and attitude of the performers and, by extension, the overall feeling in the room. You've captured a rare action shot, but you've also captured the happy enthusiasm of the performers, and this is key to the effectiveness of the image.
A very good shot, even in adverse lighting conditions.
