Seem to have a thing with feathers at the moment and no other subjects other than myself.Wasn't sure where to put this one. I did a little to it in photoshop, but only the things that I COULD have done with better lighting etc. Yes, the focus is out a bit and that annoys me but we work with what we have got. Both model, camera and lighting.
Inspired by the recent work of
Now back to the college work.......
Been working on this being my first print for sale so please be patient if it appears over and over in your devwatch.

Don't have any female models...it's hard to find gals that are comfy in front of the camera...this is why I stick to shoving the camera at my husband and my daughter

I love this, kind of brightness of the eye gives it a hidden energy, but with the feathers and slightly out of focus look also give it a warmth and softness. Juxaposed with this is the cold edge to the colour of face and hair.
It reminds me somehow of a porcelain doll in packing material.

I agree with the eye thing. Sharpening it up didn't look too good so I left it alone. The throw we have on the chair happens to be the same color, it was your recent post - [link] - that made me think of it... that and I love the colour.

I really like the softness in the picture, the contrast is amazing too... and most of all, I love the way the feathers match the color of your lips
