Description Updates:
12/31/2014: Shockingly, every single character I've ever made has been a young adult. So, I decided to challenge myself and step out of my element, creating my first fully adult character. c: You also get a cookie if you know what novel I got his name from.
------------------------------------------------

//General Information//
Name: Sgorr (Pronounced "Sgore")
Age: Adult (5 years)
Gender: Male
Height: 35"
Weight: 125 lbs
Build:  Very large head and paws. Flat faced with a big muzzle. Fur is mostly short and dense except his neck and elbows, which have longer fur. Well-muscled with strong, sturdy legs.
Scent: Moss and damp rock.

Voice: Christoph Waltz   (add a Scottish accent)
Sgorr's Theme: Anthony Gonzalez & Brian Reitzell - Towers of the void

//Pack Life//
Territory: Vale
Family: None
Rank: Apprentice
Task: Sentinel

//Personality//
Suspicious// Many wolves have a hard time trusting Sgorr because of the way he presents himself. Standoff-ish and vague at first, he can seem quite creepy with first impressions. His eyes are usually wide open and piercing into something or someone. His head almost always tilts when he speaks to someone, and adding this with his mangled muzzle gives off a weird aura that most want to stay away from.

Hospitable// Being stared at and being called abnormal doesn't phase Sgorr in the slightest. He is extremely social and enjoys the company of others. He actually finds others discomfort around him amusing. Sgorr will take the time to warm up to someone who doesn't like him, so matter how annoying he may seem, until they finally feel comfortable around him. He is a clear speaker and talks rather fast, exaggerating his words to make his point as understood as possible.

Zany//  Not to mention, a bit loopy. Sgorr has no filter and says what he wants, when he wants. He never tries to tell "jokes", rather he is a naturally comedic wolf who says the funniest things without even trying.

Stubborn as all Hell// Sgorr was born, raised, and trained to keep at it until the very end. This doesn't mean he won't obey orders if he doesn't agree with them, it simply means the job will get done to matter what. He will refuse to stop hunting until prey is caught and will try anything he sets his mind to. Any task you need will be carried out by this brute one way or another.

Undaunted// Sgorr learned in his mother pack to be freed from all fears, for the more fear you have the weaker you will be. Even if every fiber of his body is telling him to run, Sgorr will stand his ground against anything and will charge into battle with a death wish ready. That is, until his mortal fear of bears arose after they took out his pack.

Unsentimental// Sgorr isn't exactly the romantic type. If he finds someone he loves, yes, we will seek to protect them with his life, but this does not count for everyone he knows. He believes every wolf should fight their own battle, and if in pain they must push through it without his help. He doesn't do it to be cruel, only that he sees suffering as a way to overcome weakness.

May add more if I think of anything.

Other Facts//
- Sgorr doesn't really mind the permanent wound on his muzzle now and the gash on his ear.
- He likes to stick to the mountains as much as possible. Being in the wide open makes him feel unprotected and exposed.
- He never really "laughs", instead he has more of a cackle.

//Pre-Group History//
Sgorr was born to a strong and hard-headed pack in the east called Knox. His mother and father were both courageous and powerful wolves, holding the ranks of warriors in their pack. The young pup began training at a very young age to ensure his place as a fierce, well respected member of his home. His pack was situated at the bottom of the mountains, the rocky terrain and scarce pray making it difficult for the young wolf to survive, but the harsh training molded his muscles until be became and expert climber. As a young adult Sgorr continued to train constantly with his mother and father in battle techniques. He wasn't too good of a hunter because of his massive paws making noise against the rock. So instead, he focused on how to successfully undergo immense pain in battle without giving in and to be light on his feet constantly when fighting.

By the time he reached adulthood Sgorr had easily become one of the best warriors in his pack, his parents retiring to the life of elders as Sgorr continued to keep the pack protected. However, a surprise attack rendered the brute's battle skills utterly useless. The pack had failed to pick up the scent of bears that had newly entered and area and wanted it as their own. Their camp was charged by the massive beasts, Sgorr along with is fellow warriors struggling to fight after the shock of being attacked. Sgorr watched in horror as his pack was brutally killed off one by one all around him. A massive figure caught the corner of his eye, turning his head ready to leap on his attacker. Instead, his eyes gazed up at a bear's mighty claws already crashing down against him, dealing a horrific blow to the left side of his face so strong that he was flung down the edge of camp and into the shrubbery at the base of the mountain. When we woke, a searing pain could be felt on his muzzle and ear. Limping to a nearby stream, Sgorr gazed in shock at what he saw. The bear's claws were able to rip into the flesh of his muzzle, leaving a permanent scar.  Looking up at the mountain, he knew that his pack had been obliterated.

Knowing there was nothing he could do, Sgorr accepted this fate and ran from the mountains in search of another home. He looked for months, pushing west desperate for any sort of scent. As time went by Sgorr finally smelled a small group of wolves, tracking the newly laid out pack scent to a ridge of tall red canyons. Taking a deep breath, the brute swiftly made his way into the Highlands in pursuit of finding these wolves.

Sorry if this isn't too good, wasn't in a very creative mood when writing this. :c

I love his back story and his design is lovely too! I hope I can get in this round - Vale is where I want my character to he and it seems maybe he wouldn't mind my character's super ugly face either.
