And sandvich makes it all complete!In light of the upcoming season two, I decided to take on a project. This project was actually started right at the end of season one. The project? Pick a game and put ponies in those roles. I realize it's been done... but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to do... this...

For those who play Team Fortress 2, this will hopefully be a treat. To those who don't? Well, I hope it's pretty anyway.

PS. I think I made leaps and bounds in my ability to draw, colour and so forth with this. After colouring all those ponies, I've actually refined my style of colouring in Flash.
Too bad I never want to use Flash for any major project again. It kept crashing every time I had too many layers unlocked. It was... odd. But oh well. Lesson learned.
Hopefully, I can learn Photoshop so I won't have to rely on Flash. A combined 200 or so layers for this comic... imagine the crashing. IMAGINE IT!

See, those excuses sound racist to me. That isn't to say that I'm going to make a fuss about it. I just don't believe that accents and skin colour have anything to do with being the practical Engie or the insane, explosive-happy Demoman especially in a world where ponies have every colour palette under the sun.

EXCUSES?! All I'm saying which characters that make sense!! Don't bother on replying this, I'm not giving facts, I'm just saying are opinions and that's what they choose (and they set it) and I only follow suit, which I agree that is a lot better.
Moreover anyways, that is an Apple Inc. quote and I'm anti-Apple, there are people making the team members different, there's Pinkamena medic, Fluttershy heavy and Soldier Big Macs. Then there's Mayor spy. ED should have that video somewhere. And don't worry, I have no problem with those.

Like I said: I don't intend to make a fuss about it. I just think personality says more than skin colour or accents.
And conforming to the crowd is just not what I do. (In general.)
With that said, I don't care for Apple and am a proud PC user. My father has offered to buy me an iPhone but I despise touch screens so I'm waiting for the fad to pass. (That's right. I'm a proud BUTTON masher.)
I also think the concept of Fluttershy Heavy is ridiculous. The irony is lovely though. Thank you for sharing.

Touch is the future as buttons are not easy to come by in modern times these days (Existing companies are discarding that idea, most recent is HTC) except Blackberry, but I don't have high hopes for their future, even Nokia is the same too. Their business are not doing so well though. RIM has high ranking people resigning and Nokia is not catching up fast enough despite the Windows phones.
Fluttershy is Heavy to me is ridiculous, she'll be off more with Medic for her caring abilities. You can see that in the Meet the Medic video made by that MLP YT poop mixer, which is putting the ponies' heads on the regular people's heads. Or here, [link]

You know, you say that it's the way of the future but there have been so many fads in the past that were considered 'the way of the future' that died in less than a decade. So while buttons may not be doing so hot in the market right now since touch screens are 'all the rage', buttons will never be completely gone. I can't be the only person on Earth who despises touch screens. Eventually, they'll create a smart phone with buttons that has all of the features of iPhone (or possibly more) and competition will once again force prices to go down and such is the cycle of technology. Not that I care. I don't like iPhones and think that cell phones should be used for their primary purpose.
And wow. People have way too much time on their hands.

Apple has always been anti-competitive based in many common sense, hence their lawsuits everywhere, mostly against Samsung. But today, with Jobs out of the way, Apple should be less tame and there's a ceasefire on the way somewhere late in May between the 2 tech giants. Best of all, we can thank Cook on one thing, their 100 Billion dollar wealth are now put to good use on charity just like Bill Gates did with his 1 Trillion dollars long time ago, something which Jobs is all about money and never care for the needy.
Android VS iOS aside, I've been there once with Tsira, he's one great illustrator friend of mine and I respect his Apple devices. But as usual, I'll never own it due to the greed of apps & locked in closed systems which you'll be stuck with Macs-only can read them without jailbreaking to crack open the DRM-protected files. A Galaxy S Advance will be mine in no time, don't bother on my old phone, my old button one already lost its grip on the 0 zero key and it needs to be replaced.

I always thought Celestia would make a good heavy since she is larger than most other ponies.

When I was first inspired to do this image, I wanted to do a team of all the main characters. (The 'mane' six and Spike.) When I realized that six ponies and a dragon didn't fill each role in the game, I added Derpy (because I loved her to bits).
Sadly, I realized that I had every role filled but still required a Heavy so I began to consider. Many people had been using Big Macintosh in place of the Heavy but I wanted the team to be all girls if possible (with Spike being the exception because he's actually around enough to be considered a 'main' character).
I considered Zecora for a while because she's foreign and awesome but I really wanted the team to be limited to ponies. (Again, with Spike as the only obvious exception.) So naturally, I started to consider the Princesses.
"But which one?" I asked myself.
I knew I would've felt guilty if I had left one Princess out. (Because I love both Celestia AND Luna.) Then I read the comic linked in my description and the rest was HISTORY.
Season two further confirmed my choice for putting Luna in the role of the Heavy. Because... come on! Think about it?

I've always thought that Twilight would make a better engineer than AJ. Despite having similar accents, AJ's really not the sort of person who you think of as being able to stay inside long enough to get 11 PhD's.
Whereas Twilight is.
Twilight's usually depicted as Twilight Sniper, but the Sniper is a loner, and even Antisocial!twilight had Spike.
See, that was exactly what I was thinking... How can Ponyville's resident friend-maker be the loner? Sure, she was anti-social once... but now, it just wouldn't make sense to have her couped up somewhere, attempting to snipe. Why not have her setting up somewhere, sipping her drink and playing her instrument of choice while chatting up the latest visitor to her Dispenser instead? Plus, on her down time, she can write those letters to Princess Celestia. "Dear Princess Celestia. Today I learned that Pyros are an Engineer's best friend." (This also explains why Twilight and Spike spend so much time together. She fixes her junk while Spike goes around, hunting for Spies. They work together.)
With that said, she's also the town nerd. She lives in a LIBRARY for goodness sake and knows obscure magicians in some other era. I can see her knowing all there needs to know about being an Engineer.
Applejack on the other hand, is far too active to camp any area of the base. She strikes me as the type who would get restless... that and she's powerful physically. So I can imagine her running around and rocket jumping and being all, "YEE-HAW!" every time she does it. Just my two cents.
Anyway, if you haven't watched it yet, I suggest you do. I realize the series is not for everyone but you may get a kick out of it nonetheless.
