Description
This is an animation showcasing the "Readying Attack" animation of the character Kim Pine as she appears in my Wolfenstein Mod: Guns and Glory 0.5: The Story Retold.Kim Pine is from the Graphic Novel/Movie/Videogame Scott Pilgrim VS. The World, and is one of its titular characters, being an ex-girlfriend and current band-mate of Scott Pilgrim.
I decided to include her as a boss, as she was an easy fit for the theme of level 32 which was to say an amalgamation of the interests scattered throughout my mind. Ever since my initial interest in Scott Pilgrim was realized, she immediately stoodout as my favorite character. So, one thing lead to another and 1 year after the premiere of the Movie, I made the sprites to commemorate the anniversary of its Theatrical Release.
Unlike most Wolfenstein Bosses, Kim Pine (amongst others) has a Melee attack (actually she specifically has 2), and unlike her kicking attack, which can repeat itself. Her "Drum" attack has three seperate animations associated with it, the first and foremost is her pulling the drum out of "somewhere" (No, not there you pervert!) and readying it for use.
Easily the most bizarre of Kim's animations, the drum appears as she appeasr to pull it out from "nowhere." Of course with Scott Pilgrim lore this can easily be explained as her pulling it out of Hyperspace.
And for thse still skeptical, it was the most rediculous thing I could come up with and seemed so much more amusing to make and view instead of her pulling the drum from behind her back or something like that.
These sprites were originally started on 8/1/2011, and the full set was finished on 9/2/2011.
The Sprites are partially based on the ones for the Scott Pilgrim video game done by Paul Robertson, but of course, in my own style and with a few of my own touches.
I had alot of fun making these and hope that everyone can enjoy them as well!
Scott Pilgrim, Kim Pine and all related characters belong to Bryan Lee O'Malley.
You are free to use these sprites if you like, just please give me credit for them if you use them.
