This is a good piece.
I particularly love the texture of the background and the main and tail. I also love the way you have lit the horn , it gives the impression that they are in the middle of doing some magic.
on a constructive note you could perhaps work on making the lines appear smoother, particularly the outlines, you could also perhaps work on giving the wings more texture.
But other i don't know if there is much more I can say to help you. But you have a great little piece here well done, great job keep up the good work.

Hello~
I noticed you were looking for critiques, so I thought I would give it a shot and see if I can help!
First of all, I ADORE the concept of this series. I truly haven'y seen anything like it and I think it's a fantastic idea that holds a lot of potential. I also love the pose you chose. Neptune reminds me of water (based on it's roots in mythology) and the serenity in the pose captures the calmness of water perfectly.
Going off of that, however, I think there could be improvement, especially in the design. Like I said, the concept of planet ponies is a great one. However, I don't think you explore it to its fullest potential. This pony's design is highly reminiscent of Luna, a pony that represents the moon and space in general. You do not want your design to be general, you want it to be specific. I would suggest playing around with the designs more in the future to perhaps reflect the lore the planets were named after, to reflect their climate, just what makes them unique in general. As I said, Neptune=god of water, so you could have gone with something like that.
As for the execution itself. It's good, but could be better. Your lines are fluid in the lower legs and it looks rather nice, but they seem rather choppy on the rest of the pony. They need to look smooth and organic, and they look rather stilted, especially in the wings.
The only other thing I have to talk about it he anatomy. The wings in particular are jarring. I couldn't tell at first that they were supposed to be slightly folded. I would highly recommend looking up either tutorials or reference pictures of wings to better capture their form and movement. The tail is also off, as it does not protrude from where it naturally would. It's sort of just clumped behind the pony. The tail MUST originate from the tailbone in an "r" shape. I would, again, suggest tutorials or references for that.
My last point is the background. Though a nice stock image, it would be much more impactful if you made an original background that better reflected the pony being depicted rather than a stock picture of space (also you need to credit the stock image in both the mane and the background).
Overall, you have a great start with an AMAZING concept, you just need to refine your technique. Practice often and strive to improve! You're on the right path. I hope this helped ^v^

This lovely pony looks like she could be a Princess. The pose makes it look like something very cool is about to happen. Perhaps moving her planet across the sky, or defeating some type of villain.
The background is very nice, and the use of color was chosen very well. Her mane and tail are pretty and the gradient use was a great idea. You also have a good grasp on pony anatomy from the show. The planet in the picture is also a nice touch. Great job with this, I hope to see more ponies in the future. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Wow! She's so adorable! X3
The background is really, really pretty. I like her hair, and the tail too. The wings were very well done.
It isn't shaded, but that may just be your style, or you may have simply forgot. I think it would look better with it, but this still looks amazing!
I like how she has wings AND a horn. She reminds me of My Little Pony, and that makes me like it more.
The background... I'm sorry to say it again, it's just so... breathtaking! I can really imagine looking up and seeing this cutie floating in front of me! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
