Hello all!
This is the third (and last) teaser of my new project: Altered Reality.
I hope you all enjoyed and liked this little series of pictures.
We are working hard on this project and I personally hope it will be the best comic I ever contributed.
Unfortunately, we can't give you any release date, because real life is hectic and lately we had less and less time to work on it. Anyway, I hope that the first chapter will be ready for spring 2015.. in case it won't, I'll put here a few more teasers.

Non e' proprio andato.. ha qualche problemino abbastanza fastidioso, pero' il vero problema e' la difficolta' nel trovare i pezzi di ricambio ad un prezzo accettabile. XP

Ho un Macbook Pro, e ti ringrazio molto per l'offerta.
Il problema e' duplice perche' riguarda sia la tastiera che il sistema di raffreddamento.
In poche parole, il surriscaldamento prolungato ha causato la rottura di una fila di tasti sulla tastiera, quindi oltre a sostituirla procedero' con una pulizia di fondo (smontandolo completamente) e alla sostituzione della pasta termoconduttiva con la mitica "Gelid GC Extreme" (che ho gia' verificato fare miracoli su un'altro mac che ho ripulito la settimana scorsa).

Sinceramente non sono una fan della mela, anzi l'opposto, io viaggio di assemblato, I7 a 4.2Ghz, Ram 16GB DDR3, SSD e GTX690.
Scusa ma con il lavoro che fai non è meglio avere un fisso bello arieggiato?
Con 600€ te ne assembli uno bello.

Che dici? Sono macchine più che soddisfacenti.. Il problema sono io che lo uso decisamente tanto e come se fosse un desktop.. Se facessi le stesse cose su un portatile windows non vivrebbe + di un anno. XD.
Comunque le caratteristiche del mio MBP non sono niente male: I7 a 2.6->3.4 ghz, RAM 16Gb, SSD Ssung 830 da 512Gb e secondo disco a 5400rpm interno (montato al posto del lettore cd) da 1 Tb.
Si, sarebbe meglio un fisso, ma non potrei portarlo in giro e avrebbe un terribile porblema: un grosso virus noto come Windows. XD
(Purtroppo su linux il software che uso io non va) xp

Comunque scherzavo sulla frase:"Aaahhhh usi un Macbook.... ecco perchè hai problemi con il computer", so che sono dei buoni computer e soprattutto con pochi problemi, ma a me non sono mai piaciuti, sono un amante dei fissi assemblati e poi se giochi col PC oltre a Windows non ci sono molto alternative...
Più che altro con i lavori che fai un fisso sarebbe sicuramente meglio IMHO, magari con una bella scheda video (non so se con i programmi che usi conta anche quella)

Io per giocare uso la WiiU, il computer mi serve per lavorare e fare grafica 3D, quindi un MAC va piu' che bene per le mie necessita'.
Lo so che un fisso sarebbe meglio, ma mi piace portarmi sempre tutto dietro, inoltre i fissi Apple costano troppo. XP
..Per la verita' ultimamente mi sta frullando in testa l'idea di assemblare un "Hackintosh" perche' con meta' spesa posso avere un computer tosto quanto un MAC di fascia alta (se non di piu') senza rinunciare al Sistema Operativo.. In tal caso lo userei quasi esclusivamente come "render machine" quindi non necessiterebbe di una gran scheda grafica ma solo di un paio di processori davvero tosti.
(In grafica 3D La scheda video serve ma non e' critica come nei giochi perche' il rendering lo fanno le CPU)

Comunque, ritornando al nostro discorso, come mai non cambi computer? Questioni economiche? Non voglio farmi i fatti tuoi sia chiaro, lo dico solo perché mi dispiace che tu non possa svolgere i tuoi lavori nel modo migliore.
Sei il porta bandiera delle gigantesse su queste sito (IMHO), i tuoi lavori sono insuperabili e hai uno stile misto tra realismo e "cartoon" che è davvero inimitabile e fantastico!

Wow, grazie per i complimenti, sono lusingato.
Come ti ho detto, mi ci trovo molo bene a lavorare con la mia configurazione. Quello che mi manca è una "render machine".
In pratica, l'ottimale sarebbe avere a casa un PC fisso veramente tosto in termini di CPU e RAM da usare solo per i render mentre io continuo a lavorare sul mio MacBook.
Il massimo sarebbe poter realizzare un "hackintosh" con tanta RAM (32GB) e 2 processori i7 veramente tosti (non mi servirebbero nemmeno il monitor e la tastiera perchè potrei gestirlo completamente via rete).. al limite, potrei anche installarci windows
Purtroppo però il lato economico della cosa ha il suo "non trascurabile" peso.

Out of all shrink/gts I've seen, your stuff stays top rank or right under..
I like the Nikki and Vicky stuff, but angles playground I think is best I've seen.. Can't wait to see this one

These CGI or poser or whatever you want to call them are getting better all the time and your skill in creating them is simply awesome! The coloring of her skin and it's texture (i especially like the ridges on the toes) looks real. Used to be many a year ago these fancy poser pictures looked like some kind ah plastic dummy. And they was bout as stimulaten as one too! Now days they tiss gettn to be so lifelike a feller can get turned on jes by looken at em! yes sir! HEE HeeHee!

Oh, you go for realism? I thought you were intentionally making your models cartoony; this is something I've actually been meaning to try but I don't have any plain textures for any of my figures that'll help accomplish this. I would ask for your textures but I think you use completely different models for a completely different program. I also just can't just blur them all into a single color either or then it'll look plastic or resemble clay.
My inspiration all jumps all over the place. Right now I'm on a quest for realism but maybe one day I'll tone it down and learn how to make more cartoony models.

My models are intentionally cartoony yes, but I aim to reach realistic level for the materials, the lighting the scenes an the feet of the models.
I don't want to fall into the "uncanny valley", but I wish to reach the level of realism that you can see in famous movies like "Final Fantasy 7" or "Captain Harlock".

Ah, that makes more sense. Yes, your environments due look significantly better than your human models. My apologies for not understanding. I saw your feet picture that was a reference to a future project, yeah the one I commented on. I remember now. I was surprised by the lack of wrinkles beneath the foot. That's my current project right now so I hope I can get lucky on emulating that. I find it particularly helpful to pinch silk into the form of a triangle and take a hi-resolution picture of the waves in the fabric. Take away the saturation and add some contrast to places and it can serve as an impromptu displacement map for wrinkles. It's weird, but that's my current experiment. 
Ah, that kind of realism. I'm talking about . . real life realism.
No thank you, I'm not interested in software. I like working with weaker or underestimated 3d modeling programs that really let me test my own skill level to see how far it can take it.
