Me too! Esp, phoenixes! I also love creating creatures that do not exist; I should show dA my sketchbook pages. I have a thing for making hybrid creatures. I started making weird things back in middle school when a science teacher of all things told us to make up a new species. So I created a bee/butterfly/alien hybrid, lol. Ever since then I have been addicted to creating things that just should not exist or perhaps they do somewhere else in the galaxy o.O oooo I just got deep... like Star Wars deep.

great picture! I love the composition. Though the angle of the key looks kind of odd. The thought of a clockwork-raven is nightmarishly awsome. Imagine a flock of those fly through the night, with their mechanicaly jerking wings and glowing eyes.
And the look of the raven, it's like it says: <>

Thank you! The idea behind this piece was that a toy raven had come to life hence the key and odd top hat yet normal body and mystical eyes. On the angle of the key, I did it like that because of how the raven is leaning forward in an awkward position. However, I will take your angle comment into consideration as I do think if I would adjust the angle a bit it would look better; so I do appreciate you pointing it out to me I am glad you like the piece despite the key angle though!
