My best friend from grade school, Patrick, and I were hanging out at his house, just sitting around bored out of our minds. “You know my brother has weed in his room and he won’t be back for a little while.” He said. “Then why have we been just sitting here??” I asked him as I stood up. As he jumped up he said .”Only thing is the doors locked but I could give you a boost cuz you’re not as heavy and you could climb in is window to unlock it.” I followed him outside and to the window. “The window is never locked, his girlfriend is always sneaking in.” Patrick said, pushing me up with his hands. I slid it open and climbed in. “I’m in! Meet you at the door!” I started towards the door but then a beeping noise started, there was a flash of teal light and I was diminishing in size very quickly. It stopped, I looked around and everything was gigantic, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack seeing a yellowing white sock bigger than a cruise ship. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM The door knob giggled and I heard Patricks mega voice saying “Why haven’t you unlocked the door yet bro?” I panicked wondering how I was going to tell him what happened, he obviously didn’t know this was a possibility. I looked around thinking of something I could use to amplify my voice. “Hello??! He could be back soon hurry up!” I couldn’t see anything that could help me. “Shit! Hes here bro!! Just forget it, climb back out now!! BOOM BOOM BOOM SLAM Patrick must have gone to the bathroom. I started running towards the bed to climb the sheets to get somewhere his brother could see me so he could help me but the carpet was slowing me down. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM I heard the lock click and he wasn’t even close to the bed, I was pretty much in the middle of the room. The door opened and there was Patricks older brother, a giant to him. He peeled his socks off and threw them on the floor, then started walking towards the bed. I didn’t stop running but kept looking behind me, he was looking straight ahead, his feet pushing the carpet down as he walked. My god his feet stink but that’s the least of my concerns. I feel the wind as he got closer, shit I’m not going to make…Tears streamed down my face as I saw a shadow on the carpet all around me-SQUISH “Hey man have you seen Ray Ray?” Patrick asked standing in the doorway. “Not since I left my window is open and it looks my alarm went off, dis you guys come in here?” Patrick looked down and nodded. “I told you never come in here! My new security system can be fatal..” he said sternly, looking at his left foot then his right. He sighed staring at his right foot “I found Ray Ray….” Patrick looked up at him confused. “My system shrinks intruders and it looks like I stepped on your best friend.” Raising his foot to show him a dark red/brown splotch that was Ray Ray.
