It was morning and Sam was still asleep, thinking about how fun his birthday had been yesterday. He, his brother and his 3 best friends had played the new Call of Duty all night. Sam was shaken awake by his brother in a panic. “Wake up! We’ve all shrank in the night somehow! We need to get help!” Sam jumped up and joined the group of shaking terrified friends. They agreed to run and find their stepdad quickly before something happens to them at this size.
Brian lied in bed wondering if the boys were awake yet and pondered on what to make for breakfast. The group was finally running under Sams door and reached the hallway. Brian pushed himself up and got dressed apart from socks or shoes, ‘should have showered, oh well’. He walked through the open door to go to the bathroom. The boys felt the steps before they saw them, boom strip boom strip boom strip. They stood there in disbelief at how huge the man was, finally snapping out of it one of Sams friends bolted the other way. Brian made it a couple steps before he noticed movement, a group of ants were just in the middle of the hallway but one was slowly walking away, he walked up to them and kneeled down to look at them. Brian couldn’t believe his eyes, they were his stepsons and their friends. He thought for a minute then said “wonder why these ants are hanging out up here? Guess you won’t learn from what happens next.” He stood up, smirking as he did. He lifted up one foot and quickly slammed the heel down on the one walking away, Brian didn’t feel it from the tough skin. The boys all waved and jumped screaming for help, bursting into tears when he addresses them as ants. Their stepdad had his foot in the air and Sam was just a bug. He closed his eyes but all he heard was the horrifying screams of his friend that ran, followed by a gut wrenching crunch. He was grabbed by his last 2 remaining friends and they ran for it, Sam looked behind him and his brother was in shock at what he just witnessed, then he was replaced by a foot and a wet squish. Brian was chuckling, “gonna have to be faster than that boys, here comes the other foot! Sorry about the smell but it will be brief haha.” Brian brought the other foot down slowly as the boys ran for their lives. Sam was crying uncontrollably at his Stepdad now admitting to knowing it was us, he killed his brother and his friend. The smell of the warm foot was now more intense than it had been, massive toes and a shape was above them now. Brian felt them start squirm as he pressed his flesh into the hardwood, and then 3 pop/squishes. The foot was literally on their heads , they were forced to the ground panicking and screaming “BRIAN!! PLEASE!!!!!! DONT KILL US!!”.

“Maybe I’ll read now that I’m free from that bs.” Brian unstuck his foot from the floor and started his day.
