This is me caring a injured pidgeon.
Its partly a true story. Last year I saved a pidgeon which were hit by a car.
Okay, maybe some of you may think Im crazy. But I like these grey fellows.
If you like to have this picture in full res. feel free to ask me.
Maybe Ill use it as an Xmas E-Card I will add some personal Text into the top. (Just a idea)

You know, same thing happened to me: a pigeon with a broken leg... ...He is by the vet now

No problem!! ^__^ (btw the poor pigeon with broken leg now must be happy in some place... He is ok, I say good bye to him... *sigh* ...he cannot walk so perfectly but he can fly! )

Legs can heal in time. I can take some months until its completely okay. I had a quail with a broken leg. She walked with a limp 2 months but after that she walked completely normal. ^^
And a pidgeon can fly. When did you released it?

Im not a crazy old woman who feeds them all the time but I really like them.
And I dont like watching animals having pain and everyone ignoring it. D:

she laid eggs a lot from 2010 and the last new years. she had a problem with her bottom. she's alive now but im trying not to let her get an egg again or else the problem will come back to haunt me

Oh.. okay.. some birds have this sometimes. I had a zebrafinch with that .. Let me guess.. The egg dont come out.. You could try vitamines for birds (Look after vitamines A and D3) and calcium (like eggshells from breakfast).
It dosnt prevent the bird from laying eggs, but it helps if it happens anyway.

I use gimp and took the option "fibre blend" or whatever is similar to this explanation. (I have a german version).
You can change the layer option to multiply thats a similar effect. If you add a bit transparency it will work out too.
