I love the shiny, shiny scales all over the place. Her tail really dazzles the eye, in the best possible way. Somehow you've captured that shiny-yet-tarnished look perfectly - a tough feat on the computer. Nice twist on the mermaid design too. I love the feather-like scales around her waist fading to the more rounded, uneven ones lower down. One thing I would say is that I feel she needs to be moved right and down a little maybe, composition-wise. but that could be me being strange! Otherwise, very effective use of colour scheme and altogether a brilliant piece, well done!
