i was asked for an eye tutorial and originally only gave the first one i made in my discord group, but.. i think it's ok to release an updated one here, too!
when the hair doesn't have over 80 layers (i just did proper hair //wheezes the way i do it is very silly)... if i can ever find a way to make it not have so many steps i'll show it <3

everything on multiply
1. Base colour multiply
2. shaped with my pen tool, given edges with my berliner tool and eraser
3. tiny squggle shape drawn in the darkest colour
4. i realized late this isn't shown but tiny dots on the outside and blurred // forgot to sc that
everything on lumi/shade
4. messy blob
5. blurred except the line on the top (it's ok to draw it in when ur done too )
6. erase in a window pattern
7. blur a little at the bottom
8. curved line at the bottom of the eye, blurred on the edges, erased in tiny random gaps
9. curved line at the top of the eyes, blurred on the edges, and different colours added at the ends
10. triangle shape blurred at the bottom and tiny dot
11. same thing but in white and a little smaller
12. random highlights in different colours
13. sparkily! it can be more than one and in diff shapes, these are rina's eyes so i used a diamond !
14. on the very very top layer ABOVE the lineart, make a new layer, and draw in your highlights so they're above everything. blur the area outside but not too much, just enough so it's soft looking
15. go back down to where the eyes are. underneath the highlight scribble some highlights in light, contrasting (so it's easily apparent to the eye even when ur zoomed out a bit), colours and blur them
16. strange highlight shape that after it's drawn blur it so it's soft

just a circle blob that's blurred in the lightest colour at the bottom and near the window part of the eyes :3

i hope you can pick and choose which parts you like the best and even edit this into your own drawing!
