Hi everyone ! sorry for the lack of posts, with holidays and everything you know...
ANYWAY ! Here is my boss concept for the deepnest, the Tunnel Carver ! it's basically a bigger version of the dirt carver, his most hight arms posesses tiny claws that serves as hands (just like the mantis lords).
Also i tried something with that one, by adding the name and a background, as well as better tiny knights (i even modified the head's angle of the the one on the left) let me know what do you think guys !

Lore and situation :

While you are traveling trought the deepnest, you find a long but not tall tunnel, at the end of this tunnel you find a quite big insect wich seems to be digging, after that you hit his body (wich makes the same sound as if you hit metal) he turns slowly in front of you, his "eyes" are black, and he starts to lean to look at you but he suddenly convulse while making horrible noises that causes the tunnel to tremble ! after a few seconds orange eyes appear in his eyes sockets, sign that the infection drove him mad right under your eyes... Then he draws his nails as well as all knid of weapons and starts to attack you.
He is a really fast opponent, he can move quite slowly from one edge of the room to the other while hitting quickly practically everywhere in front of him with his weapons (the only way to dodge that would be jump on the wall with the mantis claws and then get behind him) he will also throw a big number of weapons from his cape pretty fast (this one is like a bullet hell) and he will also dig on the ground like the dung defender but unlike our favorite happy guy, you'll know where he is at the very end of his movement... after burrowing into the ground, he can emerge in the center of the room, the lower part of his body is still into the ground and he will hit relatively quickly everwhere around him (kind of a bullet hell too) he will also throw himself at you but this move is quite predictable as he is bigger than dirt carvers, and for fun another attack, he will stick all his arms everywhere around in the room (wich is not so big), the arms cannot damage you but they are blocking you like a cage, while doing that, he will try to eat you by hitting the position where you are with his head and mandibles ! dodge quickly ! When you vanquish him the infection leaves him and his body remains on the floor. The fight would be quit ea combination of the dung defender and mantis lords if you want a little idea...

This character is pretty mysterious, we can imagine talking to his ghost after dreamnailing his body to hear his story... (NO i'm not gonna do that here x) like every time, there is BAD ENGLISH so if there are some mistakes please tell me where they are and i'll correct them ^^

(also i kinda failed the cut of the model and since i haven't seen it before and i've deleted the psd file like a noob i can't modify it x)
