Hello good sir, I was wondering if you could tell me how you use the NES cleaning kit?

I tried using it about a year ago. Maybe I did it wrong, but it didn't seem to help much. I generally use a wet cotton swab to gently clean the connectors, and if that fails just blow in it.

:-S What makes it so rare? I looked on NintendoAge.com and it says that it's only a 5.

oh i mean its a 3screw instead of a 5. believe it or not there's only been like 2 others with that variant.

wow. I had noticed that one of my games had 5 screws while the rest only had 3, but I thought that just certain games were made differently and never really looked into it. Man, I picked it up for like 10 cents! Thanks for telling me this!

OMG YOU HAVE THE AVGN'S MOST HATED GAME OF ALL, DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE!!!

TinytheGiant In reply to spi3000 [2011-06-15 19:40:25 +0000 UTC]
Yes... Oh boy that game... Honestly, as much as I love AVGN, most of the games he has reviewed that I've also played I either like them despite their flaws or they're not as bad as he makes them seem. He's even admitted that, with the exception of Jekyll & Hyde, he doesn't hate the games as much as the reviews make it seem. But I completely agree with both of his reviews of Jekyll & Hyde.

Well too be fair, there is one game he has yet to review, that actually seems to be worse than Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. . . the one he said he'll review in the AVGN Movie.

Oh yes E.T. I have that game as well, and though it is horrible, I'd still say Jekyll & Hyde is worse.

how about Ghostbusters on NES? that one was horrible and so boring... does that count?

I've played it. It's horrible, but not as bad as Jekyll & Hyde.

the C64 version is good, but why not this one? how did the designers butcher the game so bad?

TinytheGiant In reply to T95Master [2011-08-10 00:04:22 +0000 UTC]
Here's how I imagine the decision happened. Since they already had a old outdated Ghostbusters game, they decided 'Let's make a half-assed version of this on NES! We don't even need to put any effort or thought into it! Since it already has the Ghostbusters name so it will sell even though it will suck!'

it was ported by a Japanese person in 1986, and it was butchered so horribly. but who cares, right? as long as the game says Ghostbusters, kids will want it.

I haven't had the chance to try New Ghostbusters II unfortunately. Heard it's pretty good.
