Hello, I collect game art scans and I am in need of scans of the following cartridge labels:

Aladdin
Hal's Hole In One Golf
Inspector Gadget
John Madden Football
Lost Vikings 2
Madden NFL '94
Madden NFL '95
Major League Baseball
PGA Tour Golf
Star Trek Deep Space Nine: Crossroads Of Time
True Golf Wicked 18

Will you please scan and share them with me?
especially the Star Trek label.
I have many scans and I am willing to share with you in return.
Thanks. Have a pleasant day/night ...

I do have a scanner, but it's only designed for scanning papers. I don't think anything thicker than that will work.

That should work okay. I do not know what is your brand of scanner but all that needs to be done is to place the game cartridge, label down, onto the scanner bed then scan the image at 600 dpi. Save the scanned image as a tif or jpeg image then zip then send. If you could scan the labels I will be most happy and thankful. I have many scans of snes and n64 titles so if you are in need of a scan then let me know and I will see if I have it then send it to you. Thank you and if you have any trouble scanning then let me know. :-D

Hello,
I'd have no problem with doing that, except I don't know how I'd scan the cartridge labels. If you can tell me how to do it, I'd be more than happy to.

Sorry been busy. I have a few ideas, but my scanner is over 10 years old and very basic (works fine though and still good quality scans). I'll try some time this afternoon or tomorrow.

a document scanner will still work. if you can tweak the settings to magazine scan/refelective material then the scan should look okay especially with a descreening function applied.

if it's too much trouble then even a large hi-quality photo will do as long as there is no flash. just a full label shot (cart is not necessary.) :-D you are wonderful for trying. I thank you for your time and effort. I'll check back tomorrow. Have a pleasant day/night ...

$5 for Shaq Fu? You were cheated!

I didn't pay $5 for it. Got it for 50 cents. But it goes for about $5 in retro video game stores.

Those retro game store owners should be tarred and feathered.

Well, it's because there's demand for it because people want to see personally how bad it is. I'm not kidding.

There's emulation, isn't there.

True, but I guess there's enough people that wouldn't do that because A) It's illegal, and B) It's not the same if you aren't using a SNES controller (though there are ways to make one work on a computer).
