On Tumblr people have all sorts of pretty cool Role Swap AUs where Meta gets Kirby's role, so here's my own idea for a Kirby Role Swap AU where Meta Knight does indeed get Kirby’s role, but Knuckle Joe’s father and Garlude get Bun and Fumu’s roles. If not a Role Swap AU, I could always just have it as a Camp AU where the GSA soldiers are all children in space summer camp.
That could also work quite well.
