Description
I DON'T KNOW WHY I DID THIS. BUT I DID.So I was having a case of not knowing what to do, since my Russo Project hasn't been garnering as much interest. So I decided to try a Bounsweet Variations, since I've been thinking of it for a while! Considering it's the "Fruit Pokemon", which might allow it to take the forms of other fruits. Note that I just assumed it'd be in the Grass/Fairy Egg Groups, and didn't really focus as much on the appearance as the color scheme and shape. So the resemblance to its parent is vague, but on the plus side, they look like fruits!
----------------
Mangosteen (Purebreed) - A Pokemon that exudes a delicious aroma, and has a calming effect on people and Pokemon alike. However, it is commonly sought after by wild Pokemon as a prey item. Its bouncy movements while running away are very ineffective at conveying its stress, as it merely looks playful. To compensate, they protect themselves by spinning their leaves, to blow others away, or propel themselves to safety.
Watermelon (Carnivine) - An opportunistic variation of Bounsweet. This breed can grow in various places, and has a taste for meat. It has learned to use the aroma exuding from itself to lure unsuspecting Pokemon over, before slaying them and devouring them. Its large size makes it otherwise safe from predation.
Banana (Tropius) - A sociable variation of Bounsweet. These Pokemon often grow in groups called bunches, and some of them have learned to grow fruits resembling Nanab Berries on their stalks. That way, if something gets lured by its smell, they can distract a potential predator with these delicious fruits while it makes its escape.
Pineapple (Exeggutor) - Another gregarious variation of Bounsweet. They grow in tropical locations, including Alola. While they don't split into separate individuals like Exeggutor do, they do have a sort of mob mentality. They protect themselves by mobbing predators with their overwhelming numbers, chasing them away.
Pear (Victreebel) - Another predatory variation of Bounsweet. This breed grows in groups, so as to use their collective aroma to lure potential prey into their grasps. However, it must be known that the flesh of their fruity bodies is hazardous to eat, as the juices they exude are highly corrosive.
Blueberry (Jumpluff) - A considerably light-hearted variation of Bounsweet. Their bodies are actually much lighter than they look, so much so that they can float. Their insurance policy against predation is being able to use their light bodies to bounce and float away, keeping them out of reach from predators.
Apple (Shroomish) - A common, yet surprisingly evasive variation of Bounsweet. They hide in many places. Among trees full of apples, in thick undergrowths, or places where plenty of compost is to be had. It can convert compost into good nutrients for itself, but this diet also makes its fruity flesh too hazardous to eat.
Orange (Dedenne) - A rather odd, yet adorable variation of Bounsweet. They seem to communicate to each other using the scent exuding from their leaves, acting much like a radio antennae. And the juices in their bodies are actually highly conductive, allowing them to shock a potential predator that harms it.
Cherry (Cherubi) - Another variation of Bounsweet that relies on growing other fruits to protect itself. The fruits it grows resemble Cheri Berries, and can grow very rapidly. Its fruits not only allow it to evade hungry predators, but also can be eaten to allow it to survive in cold days, as they contain many important nutrients.
Strawberry (Parasect) - An unexpectedly intelligent variation of Bounsweet. They are not very apt at growing their own nutrition, and are not very strong in combat either. So instead, they use their sweet scent to lure potential predators into their grasp, before ingraining themselves into the predator's body. They then use the obtained body as a controllable "puppet", and a source of nutrition.

now that Steenee and Tsareena debuted long ago, would there be fruit variations of them?, think about a banana Tsareena.

Interesting! ^^ I love the idea of other fruit Pokes, and hope something like this is in store. (While trying to list out my favorite Pokemon, it's no surprise to me that my canine ones are at the top, and I have tons of fishy/aquatic Water-types...but then there are big groups of fave Pokes based on objects/things/foods & plants that I really like...so further ideas like this are pretty cool!)
I especially like the pineapple and pear designs. x3 Although I'd expect Exeggutor to be involved with a coconut, lol. But pineapple'd be close enough.

I would like the banana infinitely more if it had humanlike feet, also no Dragon fruit?

Well, I wouldn't doubt for a moment that Bounsweet is in the Grass Egg-Group! And for that matter, I really did love doing that one, since it looks so much like Jumpluff. XD

Well, Hoppip uses jumping dictionary as well as Bounsweet, so I think it's gonna be an opposite of Hoppip (Hoppip is plant and Bounsweet is berry)

Yaaay!
So many different shapes and smells, so many various...tastes....the story around Bounsweet will remain the same, no matter how different it will get. Poor fella X'D
I really love the description of each one, making them unique~!
As for your side topic in description about not much interest, I think you shouldn't worry and just go if you like working on it. ALWAYS, doing something just for interest and popularity...will only drain your excitement and soul after longer time. Sure, it works at the beginning, but then frustration comes, because it's just reality and nothing too easy.
You can always work on ideas and do sketches, then come back to them once you get artblock- you know, updating an old submission is pretty good idea in my opinion

Thank ya very much dude!! XD
I figured that since Bounsweet was a wild Pokemon who's thing is smelling sweet, that'd basically make it major predator bait. So naturally, the one thing to consider is how do they prevent themselves from being eaten! What they lack in resemblance to their non-Bounsweet parent, they make up for in inherited method!
Still, you do make a good point. I'm prolly just too focused on my viewership, although I just wanna continue doing the Russo Region because it's an interesting idea I never tried before! SO, I'll keep at it, and see where it goes!

You're welcome again!
I see, honestly I haven't thought about Bounsweeet's sweet scent in the wild...my brain might could overload about all the thing I wanna explain around Pokemon, so good there are other ppl like you to do it too x'3
I'm glad what I said sounds good to you.
You know, i respect we are all different and some ppl just want to live on more "here and now", live by moments and strong excitements that modern life gives us commonly.
to have also such short-lasting, momental fame as well. I know from now I'll sound a bit more of philosopher, but maybe you'll get in your way my view.
We can grow plant from the seed very fast, but such flowers or bushes last just one years and then they die. Spectacular, colorful, or just fast growing, but they die quickly.
However, if you get patience and longer view over your projects/work, you can grow a tree- it will bloom, it will grow lots of leaves, give even a shadow in the sunny day, but it won't grow in few years to the size we wish to admire. It needs more time, but it will witstand even furious stormy wind and endure much more.
Personally I ahve sometimes a weird feeling looking at my downloaded best drawings on my phone(which I use to show some ppl who just got to know me and ask what I'm drawing) and I llook at my past and now, how any unfinished but greatly looking stuff I did lately. I sometimes wonder what I lost inside and why i just don;t keep on doing my stuff till the end to make overall 'portfolio' of mine look solid and just great.
Some of my submissions also haven't got much attention at first, or I just saw ppl ignore my description or my OCs, which also brought me down in the past, but I just kept sharing, because of few ppl who liked it and I just....loved to do so more than focus on artwork only. after months or even a year I got new comments on such ignored before stuff and got even the most supportive watchers ever.
because I just kept going.
Also, you see I do almost nothing but Pokemon fanarts. You're more diverse, trying various things, so for example some ppl won;t comment on somethign they don;t feel they can say something worthy.
Or they just wait for one certain stuff out of others you try yourself at. I dunno, it might be more complex than just "no interest" dude.
Life is very complicated and much longer than we think at first, keep this in mind.
have you noticed I decided to start E-Pokedex?
long project and lots of work on each entry, i already got down, but I'm taking a break and then slowly keep going, because I can see even ten entries will look nice year later.
Imagine how it will look in your gallery to have whole Fakedex. or at last kind of challege, 50 fakemons ideas for new region.
try soemthing different in your mind, if you feel you will give up. Ask some people you know that are interested in your stiff or are just your friends.
I wish you good luck! ^^b
