Description Ooooooh boy. Dunno if you know, but today for me is practically a day to do as much drawing as I can before tomorrow. Which is 4th of July! And the thing is...I have to go to work tomorrow. Lowe's needs me to be there, because they're having a big 4th of July Sale, and you better believe that's gonna have me running around all over the place!

SO...making the most out of my time, and getting some serious art done!

BY THE WAY, this is once again courtesy to who provided me with another amazing sketch!
Mostly because well...trying to create a decent Gorgonopsid Pokemon? Was a tad harder than expected. So I consulted her for help, and well! She pulled another rabbit out of her hat! ^^

A round of applause for her everybody!

their poison would make your body completely immobile like a stone, also Tipsy i got an idea for a Gorgon-inspired Ultra Beast:

Gorgodusa: Psychic/Poison, this UB comes from a planet of strange landscapes with coral reefs made of psychic energies, it resembles a bizarre sea anemone that keeps holding it's floating spherical "head" made of psychic energy, this "head" contains sigil-like sensory organs and it has a single bizarre eyeball with wavy patterns, anyone looking into the eyeball directly will be exposed to the cognitohazardous psychic venom and turn into stone statues, the telekinetic stone statues cannot be broken unless the Gorgodusa is severely weakened, after that the victim is completely free from the petrification, plus anyone touching a psionically-petrified victim becomes petrified.

Pardon me to interrupt here, but as a paleontology fan and an artist seeking wonderful paleoart,
I've got some good pictures to provide you how Gorgonopsids looked and where does the inspiration
for this Fakemon came from

as well as the fact mammal-like reptiles could be the very first venomous vertebrates in the history of Earth!
(that's so sick...!
so here's the odd rock/poison typing, also inspired on poisonous minerals, like TipsyRa1d3n suggested be, Torbernite ,
so not that Farfetch'd for a gorgon and venomous snakes theme there, isn't it? )

Weeell, this my fine friend, is a Pokemon based off of a Gorgonopsid! vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/di…

It's actually a therapsid (mammal-like reptile) that lived during the Permian Era, several million years before the dinosaurs ever showed up!

Because we have lots of dinosaurs and Cambrian Oddities in terms of fossils, figured a Permian Era Reptile would be a nice change of pace.

Kind of a small picture, but it still looks cool.
