Adrian. Kasandra. Leopold. Penelope. I'm sure you've heard of these names before...and so it would seem time to tell their story yet again! However, it's not quite the same as last time. After all, when you tell one story enough times, it will eventually be subject to SOME kind of change.

Adrian Rockwell (Human) - He appears slightly mad, as he drips with non-sequiturs and "Quicksilver"--a strange liquid metal that has vastly increased his intelligence and his body's speed. Albeit at the price of taking a toll on his mental health, akin to getting mercury poisoning.

He's the Mad Hatter, the March Hare AND the White Rabbit in one. And similar to the White Rabbit, someone is always chasing him. And that someone is a man whom he had once loved. Someone he now fears and flees from, under pain of what will happen if he's caught.

Adrian truly is a genius! This has manifested not only in the form of creating needlessly complicated devices, but also in being prepared for almost anything, no matter how irrational it may be. Even the possibility of being betrayed by his close friends, like last time...

Kasandra (Centaur) - Her home town, Aeolia, is defined by Centaurs being second-class citizens, serving as warriors and workhorses for the humans living there. Something many Centaurs had come to accept, due to knowing their role in the historical travesty known as the Centauromachy. For the role the Centaurs play there, Aeolia is surprisingly backwards compared to most of Cauldron.

Kasandra grew up trying to earn the favor of Aeolia's (corrupt) ruler, King Pirithous, so she may join their Royal Guard. For these purposes she grew up to be a ruthless beast of a warrior! However...despite this, she has sworn to NEVER take a life unless she must, and NEVER to walk away from someone she could help.

And then Adrian happened. She swore to help him avoid a terrible fate...and she finally turned her back on her corrupted King when he attempted to bribe her into murdering Adrian. They both escaped Aeolia! But Kasandra has no one left to fight for, except possibly Adrian. Or at least make sure that weirdo doesn't hurt himself.

Leopold Rolvsson (Ulfhedinn) - In a Northern land known as the Wolf Kingdom, there live a race of huge, warrior wolf-men known as the Ulfhednar. They are a proud and powerful people--and Leopold is a noble and failed warrior who's never won a single fight.

His life had been turned upside down when the Great Demon Owl, Kseniya, had attacked his people and brainwashed them into servitude, having them fly to other Kingdoms to conquer them. Leopold had the misfortune of crash-landing in the Tropical Kingdom--a place COMPLETELY unsuited for him.

A combination of suffering heat stroke and Penelope nursing him back to health had restored his free will. However...by the time he was ready to battle, his enemy was already defeated. His fellows--his QUEEN may have forgiven him and welcome him back with open arms. But he has not forgiven himself, and won't allow himself so easily to return as a failure! Until then...he will go on, with a new summertime lover by his side.
