PHEW...this took me an unbelievably long time, cuz of all the details that went into this. I tell you, paintings of Hindu gods get really, really, REALLY complex, and more detail than I can shake a stick at! Buuuut, courtesy of their time training at the Naga Kingdom, they both end up getting a pretty major makeover!

Just as a forward, I do apologize if I got any facts on Hindu mythology and faith wrong! Although I did my best to do my homework before posting this, to give credit to the original ideas behind this pic's imagery!

Anyway...bedtime.

Virgos
Riding Padma - As of now, he's gotten a great appreciation for lotus flowers, otherwise known as "Padma". As symbols of divine beauty and purity, he admires their ability to remain unsullied and unstained, despite growing from mud and water. As such, one of his newest magic spells is being able to summon a Riding Lotus, which carries its cargo high above danger, no matter how heavy its load may be. As in, you could literally put a piano, an elephant, AND a one-ton weight on it, AT THE SAME TIME, and it'd still float like a feather!

Vajra - An instrument to use to carry out the most powerful spells Virgos has in his repertoire, that he cannot accomplish wandlessly. Vajras are SOMETHING like Magic Wands in FantasTech, except a heck of a lot more powerful, with strength like a thunderbolt, and durability like a diamond. Something he only got to have after learning how to make do without a wand, and to be used as an emergency in the event that he's faced up with something REALLY nasty.

Golden Gada - Believe it or not, Virgos managed to pick up quite a bit of physical strength during his training. Part of it being swinging this heavy weapon many MANY times a day with one arm, and part of it being acrobatic Kama Sutra sessions with his pregnant, hormonal wife~! Albeit he's mainly been trained to use this thing in a defensive way. The golden energy stored within it helps wonders in that regard, effectively making this mace his shield, rather than a weapon.

Multi-Arm Form - A major part of Virgos' training involved in going to Sutala-loka to meditate, within the vicinity of Sankhapala. That's always a pretty trippy experience, because it basically involves in your soul getting dissociated from your body, allowing the soul freedom over its form. Virgos discovered that by going into this free state of meditation, he can give himself extra appendages! Not just to wield his magic items, but also to perform hand gestures known as Mudras, to guide the flow of magic energy within his body. His way of doing wandless magic. Only thing, he can't get crazy with the arms yet! After all, he does not have infinite life energy to work with!

Shanka of the Naga Devata- That conch/shanka he's holding in his hand is to be used as a trumpet. It is particularly important, as it is a charm that keeps danger from the seas away. That is, when blown, it makes a sound that evil Sea Serpents are SEVERELY allergic to, second only to the butt-blasting agony they feel when they hear whale songs. This is largely in part due to the sort of magic energy, straight from Ziz, that is inherent within conch shells, and can be heard when one presses their ear against it. No wonder Sea Serpents hate it so much...except for enlightened ones like Nessie, who pretty much fall asleep to it.

Ghanta of Seven Chakras - It should be noted that through the faith of Jalanism, magic is taught to be performed without using Ziz's lifeblood, and without using wands. It is quite simply an exercise in drawing power from your own life force, which is understood through the concept of Chakras. Seven types of energy flowing within the body that, when learned and recognized, can assist one's ability to manipulate their own life force into magic power. Although for people just starting to do this, having a Ghanta at hand is a must, for it is a way to energize and stabilize Chakras within the body, making the body and mind feel rejuvenated in times of need. Some of the bigger Ghantas, such as those found in temples, can act as a "refill", for those who have spent themselves. However, Ghantas can also serve the purpose of refilling depleted magical energy on magic items, allowing them to be used again after a sufficiently long ritual.

Heledd
Rajput Armor - As it would so happen, this style of armor is inspired from the Rajputs. Or at least, whatever pics of their armor I could find there. As it would stand, the word "Rajput" means "Son of a King", and apparently, nobody became a Rajput, but was rather born as one, and trained from thereon out. And it becomes rather ironic that Heledd got the armor, since supposedly the Rajput IRL secluded their women and was strictly patrilineal. But well...Heledd IS the daughter of a King who trained since childhood to become a mighty warrior. Hell, she's still going, even though she's pregnant! That's certainly saying something about her, no?

Naga Astra - So...Heledd is pregnant. Fighting melee is an increasingly bad idea, because there is an all too real risk of suffering a miscarriage if she puts herself in harm's way like before. Luckily for her sweet little honey ham in the oven, mama's got archery skills! As it is, she can fight while keeping distance. But the Naga Astra is a quite special bow and arrow, as it fires snakes conjured via magic. They're not real snakes, so they're just BARELY intelligent. But she can order them to home in on a specific target, ensuring she does not miss her mark. Also, each conjured snake has venom. Yikes.

Ankus of Airaavatha - It's an elephant goad. For her, it's not so much a weapon, since she rarely does melee anymore. But she uses it as an instructional tool to help her befriend beasts. Over the hook on the bottom of the blade, there is a sheath which allows the Ankus' user to telepathically connect with a Beast it touches! So there's no need to use the actual hook for that purpose. To Heledd, this is just the item she needs to help reign in that terrible beast that is, well....herself in the past. And just the thing to help her befriend more beasts!
