Yeah, so very few people have any idea of who these guys actually are. I'll tell you, you are right to have questions, because they themselves are very seldom talked about in mythology. So let's see if we can't pull up a few...-----------------------

- Sometimes, Sciapods prefer to travel in water than to stay on land. However, doing so causes them to grow strange appendages to help them survive in an underwater environment.
- If for any reason a Sciapod decides to travel, they will precede their travels with preparation several months ahead, by eating seashells. This way, they can form a hard calcium shell in their stomach which they can spit out, and carry with them. They fill it with mucus before they travel, so they can use it for shelter just about anywhere.
- They are herbivorous, and like to eat lots of greens. However, they often feel as though other people need crops more than they do, as Sciapods can reduce their hunger by reducing their metabolism. This makes them slower, but it makes them able to endure hunger.
- Sciapods are biologically hermaphrodites. No one, except for other Sciapods, can tell exactly what gender a Sciapod will identify as.
