Description NOTE: If these don't look quite as starfish,y that's because a lot of these are based off of actual alleged alien encounters people claim to have really had! EXCEPT for the Gauthrr and the Human. All the others tho? Apparently seen in real life, or heard about, or at least theorized about in conspiracy theories. Aaaand then I Tipsy-fied them. XD

Enjoy the weird junk!

This is also a pretty good idea as to where Liliel's story might be going next. Keep your eyes peeled~

---------------------

"Now, Miss Nereia. Can ya please tell us about th' folks living on yer planet, wherever that is? Good ta know who's who, ya see?"

"Ah, yeah! Sure, Dr. Maerna! Because well...there's a lot of races living on it, just like on Cauldron. And y'know, your world and mine really aren't that different after all. There IS a reason why the Enterprise took such special interest in Cauldron's discovery, after all.

Lemme take you through the database real quick."

---------------------

The Pleiadians
"Ah hey, that's me! Nice photo, too. ANYWAY, the Pleiadians are so-called because they've made their main settlement on planet Erra, in the Pleiades Cluster. We live for about 700 years, and are under the leadership of Ashtar Sheran. The multi-dimensional paragon of our people! And well...they really have been involved with observing Cauldron ever since we discovered it. I've heard rumors going around back at the base saying that they uh...interpred with ancient woodland Elves long ago to make the first High Elves. But I mean, that's just a rumor, so don't write it down in the history books yet!

---------------------

The Zeta-Reticulans
"Otherwise known as the Greys, they've settled in nicely at the Zeta-Reticuli star system. Not even on a planet, but a rather expansive space station called S.E.R.P.O. They're actually one of various clades of Reticulans, and perhaps the most influential in our society. They are, without a doubt, extremely intelligent, and as such, they tend to get stuck doing some particularly nasty jobs. The ones worst off are the guys doing abductions and surgical experiments. While conditions have gotten better over the years, these are still pretty traumatic on the patient, which is why working Zeta-Reticulans can simply "turn off" their emotions, to allow them to detach themselves from the patient, and prevent THEMSELVES from getting scarred too. Other than that, they're people, just like you and I."

-------------------

The 33
"These are uh...NOT native to our world. They're a rare instance of a being that WE find alien, settling into our economy! I mean thank heaven for translation Tech! SO, the 33 primarily house their brains, that fleshy orb in the center, inside of a rather complex crystalline matrix. Its inner facets are invisible to the naked eye, but they help rely some rather complex commands to its sensory tendril, which can morph itself into a variety of sensory organs and appliances, effectively making it an organic "omnitool". In fact, the 33's appendage is the basis for Dr. Maerna's Omniwrench, using much of the same basic principles to analyze and fix a wide variety of machines! Other than that, they don't interact with humanoids much. At least, not that I know of."

--------------------

The Esperpoid
"The Esperpoids are so named, because their bodies are practically BUILT to be great at using psychic powers! They are vertebrates, but don't have a spinal cord, but a spinal NET, that runs along their backs underneath their exoskeletons, and is able to spread to each of its twelve legs! And well...not to say all of them are bad, but they tend to be scarily intelligent. And often grow smarter far before they grow more empathetic, leading a distressing number of them to do some rather amoral crud before their brain fully develops, and realize just maybe...telepathically ordering someone to [CENSORED] is kind of a jerk move."

---------------------

The K'Kish
"Cute little fellas, huh? These floating, fungoid beings filled with fluorescent fungi and bacteria live among the more rural, outdoorsy areas of our world, and are by far the biggest nature lovers of the bunch. Apparently, they were created into existence by some much more powerful fungoid being, who had seeded a rural area with his spores, killing off the populace, while the K'Kish gain their personality traits. That Fungoid being that originally planted them is dead, but the K'Kish are still floating around, like little kids. They can't do nearly as much damage as their creator did. But they CAN help sustain plant life outside of their native planet's surface. And you better believe we had some eager volunteers to come to Cauldron once it was known that it had plant life similar to ours."

-----------------------

The Draco
"Oof, boy. Lemme get the elephant out of the room on this one. SOOO...the Draco are NOT evil. Let me spell that you to you loud and clear. They're not evil. They are PEOPLE. Like the rest of us! But some of their most powerful members are also the most corrupt, who join under corrupt leaders, and have corrupt agents to do their corrupt bidding, and generally flush the Draco's poor reputation RIGHT down the toilet! It doesn't help that the Draco can create synthetic Disguise Skins, with which to shapeshift into other forms. Some say they're trying to influence your kings do to their bidding. Not so. They're just trying to give suggestions to allow them an easier time settling in. PLEASE don't get on their case. Their idiot leader got their planet settlement destroyed, they don't need MORE difficulties!"

------------------------

The Aphtenoids
"Safety. That's what these guys are all about. I mean the reason for their whole shtick is that the organic matter they are made of cannot respire well in an Oxygenated atmosphere, and merely TOUCHING carbon matter with their bare skin can make them go into anaphylactic shock. So they always go out with their comfy Hazmat suits, and breathe through their respiration masks, and put up force fields to protect them from anyone getting too close. They're kinda taking the "safety" thing a bit far, but it's understandable, since their First Contact involved in their ambassador dying from a handshake. Oh! Did I also tell you, underneath their suits they look like...penguin squid things? That's the best descriptor I have right now."

-------------------------

The Lyrans
"Settled along the Lyra constellation, at the star Vega, th--aw come on...whaddare you looking at it funny for? Of COURSE there are cats in our world! I'll explain in a bit, but actually..."Lyran" as a word, needs a bit of disambiguation, because several species live on planet Tara. A weird little planet that seems to have stuff from other dimensions seeping into it. Other Lyran races including the Giant Lyrans, Red-Headed Lyrans, the Vega Lyrans, and the bird-like Lyran Carians. And these guys, the Feline Lyrans, who act just as you'd think. Spunky, can't sit still for long, can come across as thrill lovers or wizened sages. Can reincarnate as cats upon death. Y'know? Normal stuff."

---------------------------

The Mantids
"So...you're allowed to say it. They are freaky. A good chunk of that comes from the fact that they have a very non-human set of values and emotional range. They ARE capable of showing positive vibes, although the ones in charge are specifically chosen so, due to being biologically unable to sympathize with human emotions, AT ALL. They can order surgical experiments on small children and stuff, and show complete emotional detachment that even the Greys can't hope for! While those who are lower on the rung are indeed capable of showing kindness. Like say...their idea of doing something nice for someone is to let someone look at their genitals, or letting someone nibble on their pinky finger. Weird stuff like that."

------------------------

The Blue Avians
"Now HERE is a weird one. They weren't even originally birdy! They were originally a type of Reticulan that became birdy after having gone on an expedition to Cauldron, only to become so entranced with Ziz's magnificence that they built a cult around him! And eheh...didn't tell us a lick about it until recently. They kinda kept this all to themselves, and sent a bunch of altar boys who got amnesia on the way over to our base. Yeeeeah, that wasn't very impressive of them. Oh, but d'you wanna know the REALLY weird part? They don't need spaceships to travel. They can just sync their minds with someone while their dreaming, and pop up in reality the moment they enter a person's dream, and gain their awareness, and approval of their impending arrival. They don't abduct, but appear with permission."

---------------------------

The L(WH)^2
"Called the Magnitudes for short, these beings seem to think of everything entirely in terms of math, or equations, or some other form of mathematic/scientific order. I mean, that much is understandable, since they are nanotechnological slimes living within a femtotechnological platform. Very advanced stuff. Basically, they like order and geometrical coherence in their lives, although whenever they emote, whatever feelings they happen to have cause their bodies to twist themselves into different shapes to convey that. Except well...they kinda regard it as rather unsightly, which is why they don't do this in public whenever possible. They may seem standoffish because of that, but it's really nothing personal."

---------------------------

The Hoph-Hoph-Hoph
"Goodness, these little hellraisers...they don't really have a means of interstellar travel on their own. No, they stow away onto other people's ships, and hop off board once they get to a new place to call home. From there, they just absolutely go bonkers. Some of my other commanders have even went as far as to call them "vermin", because while they don't attack people, they cause JUST enough collateral damage to be a terrible nuisance, and they're borderline impossible to harm or kill. However, I should say that the Hoph-Hoph-Hoph...really don't like being alone. Contrasting to their normal brand of mischief, they become very shy and withdrawn when not with others of their kind.

----------------------------

The V'ronezzh
"These V'ronezzh are NOT people you wanna mess with. Their amazingly tech-outfitted bodies gets them dispatched for all kinds of purposes, whether it be sample collection, abductions, criminal apprehension, or security combat. Their most infamous weapon is what we call an "AbducTube", which converts living matter into light and digital data, for the purposes of storage and gathering info about a particular person and their species. One may mistake the V'ronezzh to be utterly void of emotion, but this is not so! They have these little boxy robots that they always take with them, and they enjoy their company like...like a pet. Like their answer to pet dogs. Y'know? They love 'em."

--------------------------------

The Faleek
"These little rascals...is there any particular shame in admitting that I know them as being famously sticky-fingered? I know you guys probably say something similar about Toma, but no, I mean it's REALLY bad with the Faleek! One time I saw about two of them tase a guy, and steal a painting easel he had set up. But not quite for the reasons you'd think. What's especially weird is that their planet settlement is half clean, half polluted! It would seem that they've come up with a way to process artificial matter into more environmentally friendly forms, and are making a living in selling matter to be purified. Although...sucks that they're starting to steal even junk, to make a quick couple of ill-earned credits."

----------------------------

The Gauthrr
"Now these ones right here are--wait...Beholders? Is that what you guys call them? No, they're actual race name is the Gauthrr! What, they never told you that? Oh...right. Language barrier. So yeah...they're one of us. Used to be. Where'd they all end up tho...?"

----------------------------

The Humans
"And last but not least, good ol' human beings--"

-----------------------------

"HOLD UP. HOLD THE BLOODY HELL UP, LASSIE."

"O-oh! I uh--d-did I say something wrong?"

"HUMANS?! How are there humans on another planet?! In fact, I'm seein' an awful lot of weird parallels to our planet, even bloody cats, and I also noticed how distinctly humanoid a lot of these are! Even the humans aren't that different!"

"Well technically no, because they get these genetic quirks which give them superpo--"

"HOW?! How are ther--okay. OKIEDOKE. What PLANET are you even from?!"

-----------------------------------

"Oh, right!

It's called...

United Earth

Based on the last one, does this mean Fantastech is crossing over with Millennium?

Ummm...no and yes.

Yes in the sense that old characters will be likely revived and reused, since there's now a lot of background lore to work with. The prospect of humans having quirks will allow them to gain a particularly strong significance within the setting.

No in the sense that it won't take place in the HSIS/Millennium universe. It's still FantasTech entirely, and does not connect to the events of those other series.

Kinda seems more like HSIS instead of FantasTech.

I do kinda see where you're coming from.

Although if anything, since Liliel's true identity was established, figured I'd build up the background of her world a bit.

Sooo, it probably does bring HSIS into mind, even if it's a different canon.

I haven't really seen much for HSIS since last Summer at most.

You know, I imagine so, cuz they multidimensional like that. XD

Aaaand DEFINITELY gonna put more aliens in here! Just thought I'd make shoutouts to real Ufology before delving into weirder stuff.

yep, waiting for these comically dimensional Popus, the whole Fantastech cast will be weirded out and go WTF at their blue and orange morality humor, they will go comically mad if the Popus summon the "Aoi Shouta", an hyper-psychic avatar that dealt with many eldritch horrors and fixed many corrupted timelines eons ago.

Earth after many forms of alien contact? That's my guess. But she (almost) said the "alien" humans had superpowers through genetic quirks. I see a LOT of promise in that! Any of my MHA OCs could be in Fantastech and any of my RWBY OCs might at least be able to be adapted to fit with the quirks. This is great! So when will I get to unleash the new and improved Fantastech versions of my best characters? (Kinda too late for Karen Oniques though.... But I might be able to make a much more accurate character inspired by her under a different name. Like Kierra Spade, aka "Vengeful Hero, Greaver". I'll work on it, I could do much better than that.

But I'll wait until the pieces are in place for such characters to appear. I have games and stuff to do in the meantime, which will distract me from writing.

Yeah, and now it can be integrated into the world of FantasTech. So we can have both.

How would they meet their other selves? They'd just be the same character adapted to fit the FantasTech lore.

No, he's introducing some stuff that involves humans with quirks. So they will be easy to adapt to fit into Fantastech. At least, that's my understanding of it. I'd ask Tipsy for details if I were you. He's the one running this show after all. I'm just providing some actors. XD

Ahaa! Of course! The perfect opportunity to perhaps introduce superheroes into the world of FantasTech! A strange new phenomena where people reveal their hidden, NON-magical power, and use it to defend the innocent in this unfamiliar world of magic and monsters.

Somehow...I can imagine that there are people on Cauldron already with superpowers. Albeit their abilities are either hidden away, or disguised as magic to avoid the notice of unsavory people like the Blades, who would use it for evil.

Hiding until the person they can trust...their guide and savior...comes to rally them out of hiding, and to join her cause.

That guide being, well...Liliel.

Thank ya very much dude!!

Honestly, been waiting a VERY long time to finally drop this, and figured it'd be a particularly interesting twist to this time refer to aliens allegedly seen in real life! To set up the whole thing with United Earth before segueing into more fictional, and bizarre ones. And maybe re-introduce some fan-favorites like the Wollabacs!
