Yup, so she's actually a SUPER modified version of an old Sonic character. A REALLY old one.

Remember the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters? Nope? That's alright, because they were basically a one-off Freedom Fighter Group. One that I took interest in because Aquatic Mobians are actually pretty cool!

Anywho, this gal was originally a normal-looking Manta Ray, who was a guy named Ray, who didn't really have much in the way of personality. Although in Eccentrix-Verse, she's a girl, and is kind of like Nami in terms of personality (being a kind of wily, resourceful person who does the right thing, but is highly encouraged with the promise of reward), and she's actually the leader of the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters! She's got her stuff together, maaaaan. Not to mention, she's not a fiery redhead like Nami, but actually somewhat soft spoken and gentle, more reliant on the fact that she's just that persuasive at getting her teammates to do what she tells them to. They don't challenge her for authority because they ALL know she knows what she's doing.

That, and she tends to be pretty nonchalant towards passes made at her. The bikini outfit's mostly because she hangs around the water, and has come to seriously hate drapey clothes since they REALLY slow her down.
