Description Sooo, Zubat! One of the most annoyingly common Pokemon that many people have the displeasure of running into! However...what if I told you that Zubat are actually an incredibly diverse species of Pokemon, whose ability to adapt is unprecedented? As is noted here, here's just a few of many Zubat variations that one can find in the wild, or via breeding!

--------------

Vampire Bat (Purebreed) - This variation of Zubat is the standard fare. They are nocturnal, are sensitive to sunlight, use echolocation as their primary sense, and feed on blood and Bug-Type Pokemon. Their sheer abundance makes them a popular Pokemon with teams who need numbers on their side.

Honduran White Bat (Woobat) - This variation of Zubat is notably good-tempered, and has a very sweet disposition that make it popular with trainers who don't have access to Woobat and Swoobat. They are frugivores, herbivores, and make tents from plants to shelter them from rain and bad weather.

Hoary Bat (Swablu) - This variation of Zubat is known for its especially dense and silky fur coat. While they are generally well-tempered and loving towards trainers, they are often found alone. This may be due to their sparse population, caused by being overhunted for their furs in the past.

Hammerhead Bat (Aerodactyl) - This variation of Zubat is a rare, but ancient species of Zubat predating many modern variations. These Zubat have huge jaws and teeth, but they still primarily enjoy eating fruits. However, unlike most other frugivore bats, they also eat meat and Bug Pokemon on a regular basis.

Flying Fox (Doduo) - This variation of Zubat is by far the biggest ever. With a wingspan of up to 5-6 feet wide, and a head-body length of about 13-15 inches long, they are almost strictly frugivores, and they are also diurnal, picking from Berry trees during the day. These Zubat grow even more massive upon evolving.

Spotted Bat (Noibat) - This variation of Zubat has most of its other senses reduced even compared to other Zubat. But it's one of the best users of sonar echolocation that there are, in no small part due to their massive ears and penchant for precision. Sound-based attacks are their primary means of defense.

Barbastelle Bat (Murkrow) - This variation of Zubat is known for being one of the most aggressive. They are quite social with others of their kind, but are also fiercely territorial, and attack intruders with even more viciousness than normal Zubat. They are distinguished by their pitch black coats, and residence in dead trees.

Heh, not only are they multiplying, they're becoming completely different too.

Ever see a Zubat with a wingspan bigger than you are? XD

Nope. But Golbat would be sure to eat me whole.

Well luckily for us, Zubat and Golbat who drink blood seem to be the minority, compared to the ones who just want some fruits and bugs for dinner.
