Description
“What are you looking for anyway?”
“Tebbric discovered three new wanderers, I want to see them for myself.”
“You don’t have a telescope?”
“Not an enchanted one. Besides, it’s been ages, we needed a visit.”
“... and you needed some of my berry wine.”
“Hush now… I think I see them.”
“New wanderers? I can’t remember the last time there were new wandering stars found.”
“Tebbric saw them a month ago, by pure chance. He says they’ve been getting brighter by the day.”
“Brighter? I’ve never heard of wanderers getting brighter. I read somewhere in Daystina’s works that… ah yes here it is… the brightest ones are like tiny marbles that inscribe a path along the sky, spanning years, even centuries. Strange they have found new ones. Where did they come from?”
“No one knows. The Academy of Astrologics is in an uproar over them.”
“Well now, that is interesting. New comets, perhaps?”
“I asked the same thing, and he disagreed. Said something about the colour being all wrong and that they are moving too slowly. No tails either. Come, have a look. Brighter than Ixies, even at dusk.”

And here we have the hook. Rathiain and Tialah are enjoying and early evening visit, discussing the new wandering stars ('planets') found in the sky.
This is continued in The Wanderers - Part II .
I keep coming back to this aspect ratio, not entirely sure why. Some shots just seem to call for it. The coming project will require me to change that up quite a bit, but that’s fine. I’m getting much more familiar with the camera settings, so feel more confident in move those settings around. This was a fun scene to put together, and there are a lot of little details hidden inside. I suspect I will need to properly set this tower up as a scene subset before long, to maintain some semblance of consistency. Divinity Skies was one of my first purchases on my return to Daz and remains one of my favourites. I think I’ve used it as a set piece in more renders than any other.
