Wow, this is simply stunning. When I first saw this I was drawn in by your use of what appears to be a very limited color selection. The small amount of texture used and your attention to detail is absolutely fantastic. The entirety of the piece flows together and has the eye travelling at all of the right places. It's not too busy and everything seems right. Her anatomy is spot on as well. You captured not only Yue's personality, but also the essence and persona of the moon itself. This version seems almost too dull, like you said, in comparison to the earlier version. But for some reason, this dullness also tells, or hints, at a bigger story. My vote goes for this version.
