I love your trees! I've never seen something like this before. Every single one of them is special.Β

Thank you so much Laura, I never paint from photos when I paint trees, which makes them more individual. I have always loved trees.

I'm amazed at the details you paint without using a photographic reference. Do you simply try out random ideas? When I do that, it often looks silly, but your ideas never look awkward or unfitting...

I get a picture of a tree in my subconscious, and then I'll paint it. Often it will be quite different from the original idea.

I think the perspective is really great here. You get the feeling that this tree is huge, majestic and powerful, just by that "I'm down here, the tree goes way up there"-view. Beautiful work!

Thank you , I made the tree trunk thicker at the bottom, because it felt right. It must have created a different perspective than I normally have in my tree paintings.

Thanks, I'll always be supernatural, what does "oniric" means?

Β Everything concerning the world of DREAM is oniric! Most of your paintings seem inspired by dream, with strange shapes and atmosphere.

My subconscious has a crucial role both in my dreams and when I paint. but I rarely dream about trees during the night.

how do you get the lines so thin with watercolor?

I usedΒ brush size 00 for this, I usually use 0000 brush for my paintings. Size 0000 is probably the smallest brush that you can buy in Sweden. If you hold the brush straight up your lines will become thinner ,dilute the color for thinner lines ,Β feel free to ask as much as you want .
