Highly resistant to heat, magma dragons are so called because of their habit of living in active volcanos and basking in lava lakes there.

Unfortunately, the world doesn't have nearly enough of such things, so many of them are forced to live in less fancy abodes, which sometimes leads to problems.

Vayla doesn't have a lava lake of her own, but she does have a very nice hot spring. Of course, some of the locals think it is THEIR hot spring, and SHE is just some interloper who is hogging them, but really, she's a dragon. We all know who that hot spring belongs to now, right?
