Description
The Spinosaurus aegyptiacus was a 60ft long, 2t bited, 6ft tall humped predatory dinosaur that was discovered by a German paleontologist, Ernst Stromer. In Dinosaur Revolution season 2 episode 1, The River of Titans, appeared a very big Spinosaurus specimen. This specimen was 80 feet long, much bigger than other Spinos. The authors called him Gustave, based on the giant Nile Crocodile. Like the crocodile, this Gustaveβs size forcing him to attack larger preys, such as the Aegyptosauruses and Paralititans, because the Onchopristises, Mawsonias, and Gars do not satisfy his appetite. Based on the jawbones, the authors added to him a unique skull. He is the main antagonist in this episode (like the Torvosaurus in The Watering Hole, or Jack the cannibalism t.rex in the End Game).

It's a pretty good drawing, but I'll have to say that some things don't really add up.
I don't think the size of this specimen is really realistic, but I guess that's creative freedom. Your spinosaurus doesn't even look like an actual spinosaurus, sorry to say that, but it's true. The legs are far too long, certainly for a spinosaurus, which has very short back legs. I think it would be more logical to make this spinosaur it's own species instead of calling it a spinosaurus. If it indeed had to rely on other food sources than fish, it would need a totally different set of teeth and it would need huge differences in its body in comparison to other spinosauruses. This spinosaurus would therefore not be able to be born out of a spinosaurus and isn't a spinosaurus. I also don't see the enlarged claw on its hands, which if you want an impressive big dinosaur, I'd certainly add (and it would add some accuracy). I'd take a look at the anatomy of this interesting animal and look at how it actually looks. The sail for example, is supposed to have a slight curve in it (kind of like an m) and you might consider making it quadrupedal (this depends on how you see it, because the study from Ibrahim does have some things that don't fully add up, but the center of gravity is kind of an problem too) you've got a pretty cool art style and I'll look further to see more art of yours (with improved anatomy maybe?)

Great idea but i think that's too big for a 80-ft animal... looks more like 100ft long and 40ft tall.

You've forgotten the Hallux, that's Digit I of the foot. This is a pretty common problem in amateur dino-art.
See here: [link]
But be careful, not every Dinosaur retained them. But most certainly all non-avian Theropoda.

Because he is the big bad guy in the episode, and the bad guy that biger is better
Today Gustave and Lolong are the largest crocodiles of their species and both are much bigger than their cospecific.

If you watch Dinosaur Revolution, they have to be anatomically correct, this is not anatomically correct, and it is supposed to be base on actual science, so your reply is invalid.

Thanks, I like the Dinosaurs in the Dinosaur Revolution (my favourite episode was The Watering Hole, and I think the worst segment was the Utahraptor scene in the Survival Tactics) so I creating a season 2 with better narration, better storys, and other unique projects, like the Prehistoric Everydays (coming soon) my fun-fic based on the All Yesterdays: unique and speculative views of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals book

While Dinosaur Revolution relies heavily on drama, I donΒ΄t think they would do something like making a Spinosaurus one-third bigger than it really was.
A 60 foot Spinosaurus is already the biggest carnivore in its environment, no need to push it beyond that.

Thats right. But they created specific thinks. Like the whale sounded mosasaurus or the onomatopoeic Rahonavis. Im not said every Spinosaurus was 80ft long, but I think it may have been for the gigantism at the dinosaurs. Like on the Cedarosaurus vs Utahraptor segment, its only an inspiration from the modernday animals. This is my idea and should not be accepted.
