Kammy Koopa (Ability: Tattle)Bowser's caretaker and lead minion, who teams up with Mario after Bowser is kidnapped by a mysterious shadow. Being forced to work with Mario, she shows disgust at having to work alongside him, but feels it is necessary to rescue her boss, but over the course of the adventure, she starts to recognize Mario as a better team-mate then Bowser, though she would never say it out loud, and would deny it till she dies. Being a master Magikoopa, Kammy offers up her magical abilities to the table, allowing Mario to use her magic to reveal an enemies info as well as other things.

Triangle Striker (10 FP, Ultra-Rank): Kammy summons three enemy seeking missiles, which resemble red triangles, that home in on enemies and prevents them from attacking for 3 turns.

Black Ninjakoopa (Ability: Ninja Shot [Shell Toss])
A member of the Koopa Bros. who joins Mario after feeling that the others will never respect him. Journeying with Mario, Black sees him be patient with others, while he and his brothers always try to rush to the conclusion, and learns from Mario the most valuable skill of ant Ninja Koopa, patience and discipline, something he has failed to do with his brothers and something his brothers have failed to do with him. Using his skills, Black can reach hard to reach targets and allow Mario & Co. to proceed through hard to cover terrain.

Martial Meditation (0 FP, Default): Black charges up his attack, defense, and HP for a turn, and after the turn is up, all points increase by 5.
Ninjitsu Shell Charge-up (1 FP, Default): After going into his shell for a turn, Black spins his shell towards enemies and knocks them down, deals 10 damage.
Kung-Fu Shell Kick (3 FP, Super-Rank): Black begins spinning in a miniature version of the Koopa Bros.' Shell Tower, of which Mario then kicks him towards the enemies, deals 25 damage.
Karate Shell Slam (7 FP, Ultra-Rank): Black once again goes into his shell after performing a jump, and then Mario uses his hammer to slam him at the enemies, knocking some into the audience, deals 40 damage.

GoomBert (Ability: Navigation [Creates a Map of the area])
An archaeologist/map-maker, formerly working as Kolorado's Navigator during his adventures, however, due to a disagreement, quits his job, and while trying to find a way out of the desert, is eaten by a giant Koopa made of sand. After Mario is able to defeat it, he joins Mario's team, able to use his skills as a map-maker to make a map of any areas Mario is visited, letting him go back and try to find any treasures he's missed.

Enemy Navigation (0 FP, Default): GoomBert adds onto Kammy's tattle log, using his navigation skills to identify what an enemy's weakness is based on their environment they're in.
Head Bonk (2 FP, Default): GoomBert runs, jumps, and head bonks a single enemy, up to five times, each bonk deals 2 damage.
Head Ram (4 FP, Super-Rank): GoomBert walks back then runs forward and jumps on each enemy in a row, 12 times, deals 9 damage to each.
Head Stomp (8 FP, Ultra-Rank): GoomBert follows the same routine as the Head Ram, but after the third jump, GoomBert jumps higher than ever and Mario jumps onto him, and sends him crashing down hard on the remaining enemies, deals 20 damage to all enemies.

Cocoaknow (Ability: Trap Sprint [She can sense a trap, and if you press the A button, she can let you sprint pass it and disable it])
A Resident Cocoknight of Volcano Island, and after Bowser Jr. forces half of the island's inhabitants off the island to make room for his amusement park, moves into the neighboring village on Chasm Island. After Mario & Co. accidentally breaks a Cocoknight idol, she is the only that believes Mario is who he says he is, already increasing her outcast status since she wears a cocoa bean instead of a traditional coconut.

Disarm (1 FP, Default): Cocoaknow uses her Cocoknight skills to disarm an enemy of their weapon (only works if enemy carries a weapon)

Spear Jab (5 FP, Super-Rank): Cocoaknow runs and jabs all the enemies with her spear, deals 20 damage.
Cocoa Roll (7 FP, Ultra-Rank): All of Cocoaknow's limbs go into her cocoa bean and Mario rolls her towards the enemies, deals 35 damage.

Jade Bulb-Ulb (Ability: Distract [Draws enemies away from Mario & Co.])
A single mysterious Bulb-Ulb with no memory of her past, the only clue is her jade vine, and after Mario rescues from the Poison Piranha Plants, joins up with him to regain her memory. While fighting against Petey Piranha, she begins to regain her memory, and after he is defeated and regains all of her memories, continues with Mario to complete his adventure.

Distract (3 FP, Default): Before an enemy's turn, Jade can create a plant doppelganger of Mario to draw its attack away.
Vine Throw (6 FP, Super-Rank): Jade uses her vines to rip up several rocks and throws them at the enemies, deals 25 damage.
Root Smash (9 FP, Ultra-Rank): Jade draws up giant vines and uses them to smash the enemies, deals 50 damage to each.

McBoo* (Ability: Outta Sight)
A peaceful Red Boo and former member of the Boo Troop and ex-top member of King Boo. After seeing how much pain he and his kind has done to innocents, he and his friends give up their jobs at the Boo Troop, which makes them automatic enemies of King Boo. After his friends are kidnapped by King Boo, he teams up with Mario stop him and rescue his friends, making a new ally in the fight against King Boo.

Scare (2 FP, Default): McBoo first disappears, then reappears and scares off several enemies from the stage and attacks the others, deals 20 damage.
Lick (4 FP, Super-Rank): McBoo approaches the front two enemies and uses his huge tongue to gobble them up and spit them at the last one, deals 40 damage each.
Possess (8 FP, Ultra-Rank): McBoo uses his ghost powers to take control of a random enemy and use the attacks against the others, while simultaneously hurting the enemy he possess (does not work if there is one enemy or on bosses).

BumpTina (Ability: Slide [A combination of Faster Travel, and the ability to activate switches in cramped up spaces])
BumpTina is the daughter of the Bumpty Town mayor, BumpTed, with thus commands a lot of respect around her and her father. BumpTina has always been fascinated with ballet and becoming a ballerina, so her father enrolled her in Bumpty Ballerina School. While BumpTina gets to live her dream, she still has worries. Not over her ballerina skills, but for her father and how hard he works as mayor. After a freak blizzard happens all throughout the kingdom, and BumpTed plans an expedition to the frozen caves, she immediately wants to go to make sure her dad is okay, but he forbids it. Luckily, Mario, a late joiner to the expedition party, convinces BumpTed to join the party, promising to look after her.

Ballet Show (0 FP, Default): BumpTina performs a short Ballet recital, and, if done perfectly, Mario and her are rewarded with items that can restore HP, increase ATKP and DFNSP, and harm enemies from the audience.
Slippery Slide (3 FP, Default): Using an Ice Flower to freeze the stage, Mario then uses his hammer to make her slide towards the enemies, deals 20 damage each.
Ballerina Twirl (6 FP, Super-Rank): Uses three Ice Flowers to freeze each enemy on the stage, then uses several spin twirls to attack them, deals 35 damage and freezes enemies for 2 turns.
Ice Breaker (11 FP, Ultra-Rank): Uses multiple Ice Flowers to freeze the stage so much, the pressure makes it very thin and easy to break, which BumpTina does, and sends each enemy down into freezing, icy water, freezing them for 5 turns, and making them lose 15 HP each turn frozen (does not work on bosses).

Commander Tar T. (Ability: Detect [Tippi's ability to detect hidden objects])
Smar T.'s older brother, an astronaut, and is the commander in charge of the MKSS Mrk II. MKASA Island, headquarters for headquarters for the Mushroom Kingdom Aeronautics and Space Administration, recently lost contact with the MKSS Mrk II after a strange distress signal by its computer system, Dais-E. Fearing for his brother, Smar T. begins construction of a rocket to go check on him, since his brother can be a bit slow to pick up on things, but several of the parts get stolen. After Mario is able to retrieve them for him, he decides Mario should go in his place, as he needs to the final Star Key to rescue the princess, so he lets Mario & Co. take his rocket, telling him to find his brother and to make sure he is safe. While on the station, Mario is able to locate Tar T., and they team up in order to stop the haywire defense systems on board and the mysterious lifeforms outside the station.

Rocket Blaster (4 FP, Default): Tar T. can call up some small Defense Blasters that are not haywire, and use them to attack the enemies, deals 25 damage.
Tether Lasso (7 FP, Super-rank): Tar T. uses his oxygen tether either lasso an enemy into the audience, or lasso an ally out of the audience, both to gain further help for 5 turns.
Call in (12 FP, Ultra-Rank): Tar T. calls up the entire crew of the MKSS Mrk II as an attack, and each of them all jumps on an enemy, dealing a total of 60 damage split evenly.

Reznob {Optional} (Ability: Long Shot [shoots at far away targets that Black's Ninja Shot can't get])
Reznob is one of the four Reznor brothers which agonize Mario & Co. for his king, Bowser, alongside his three brothers, Reznod, Reznoc, and Reznon. However, during their course of hunting for Bowser, one gets locked up in Bowser's dungeon, one gets last in the Koopahara Desert, and one refuses to leave the beauty of Flower Fields, leaving only Reznob to pursue Mario to the Icy Mountains. After Chapter 6, he gets lost during a freak blizzard in the mountain, the last blizzard of the year, and is able to send a note to Bumpty Town asking for assistance. One Bumpty finds the note, and decides to put a trouble out since he's not much of a doer. Mario can then accept the trouble and learn from the Bumpty of the note, and rescue Reznob, who is grateful to Mario, and decides to join his company.

Quake Stomp (7 FP, Super-Rank): Reznob jumps up high in the air, then slams down, making a mega stomp that cause a mini-earthquake, deals 60 damage.
Stampede (15 FP, Ultra-Rank): Reznob calls on his brothers (who had mysteriously escaped their own predicaments) to act out of his attacks together; first the ramming, then they fall back and fire multiple fireballs before creating a huge earthquake, ending with a total of 90 damage.
